WordPress image database migration issue

I am trying to migrate from a very old CMS to WordPress.
I have manged to export the database and map fields from the old database to a new WordPress Database so all the post text has been imported successfully.

I have got the file paths of the images from the old database and uploaded the images to a folder structure on the server.
I have managed to rebuild the image database so that the uploaded images show in the gallery.

The bit I am struggling with is linking the images to the posts.
I have added _thumbnail_id entries to wp_postmeta to link the images the posts but the images are not showing up as Featured Images as I’d expect.

I have also tried posting revision rows into wp_posts, this hasn’t helped.

If I upload an image manually via the front-end/gallery and attach it to the post, then the relevant records are created in the database, if I try to replicate this via SQL on the new database, the images are not attached to the posts.

What am I missing?

Featured Image from URL?

I use an image CDN with thousands of images on it. I would like to use some of those images as featured images for individual questions on my quizzes. The plugin does not seem to have the option to add featured images for questions from a remote URL. Am I missing something or is this not possible?

I’m seeing an 404 error when attempting to set a featured image using , I have a YouTube video showing the issue here:

Version: NextGEN Gallery v3.30 should be the latest as of today. Free version

I am developing locally on using Laragon v5.0.0:

Primary Browser: Chrome (latest build)
Windows 10 machine.
Apache/2.4.47 (Win64)
OpenSSL/1.1.1k
PHP version: 7.4.19
WordPress v6.0.2

If you want I can upload to a server and give you admin access to investigate.

I wonder if this is a local dev issue, if your unable to recreate I’ll try on a live server.

Featured Image appears with video in post

This is my first website. I stopped posting new articles for several months and when I went back to it, I ran into the same issue I had before and I can’t remember what I did to fix it the last time.

I use this plugin so that the featured image can be pulled from the YouTube video. The problem is that the Featured Image appears on top of the video in the post itself. Also, a link to the YouTube video appears in the post grid.

I disabled the plugin, reposted the video, disabled the featured image in the post in the theme (Astra) settings (that worked but I lost the featured images in all of the other posts), etc. I also made sure to check the same settings as with the other video posts to no avail.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

Featured images in feed don′t show up

Hi,

I am using the free version of RSS Aggregator by Feedzy.

But on the website using RSS Aggregator by Feedzy the featured images are not showing up in the feed.
I am using the a Feedzy RSS Feeds block to insert a feed from another website (https://blog.refak.at/tag/dimi/feed/) .

I also tried it with another feed url (external WordPress website), where there are featured images and als other images in the posts. There only the first images that are inserted in the post show up, but not the featured images …

Hello, I am using Generate press theme and Everything was fine until the day before yesterday.
The posts were fine and featured images too but after yesterday the featured images are not showing up on the blog page or on the category pages. I have tried activating and deactivating plugins too. It would be a great help if someone can help me out.

I tested my site with https://www.coderedcorp.com/tools/rss-preview/ but all featured images are not showing for the posts. I was able to pull the posts from the blog but not the featured image, looks like something is wrong with the image on the blog’s site?

The site that I am using to retrieve the rss feed isn’t live yet so I couldn’t send it to you.

Hello! I have this problem for like 5 days. What’s it about? So, when I go on wordpress.com to check my posts there, my featured image on the last two posts is blank, there’s the sign that tells me there’s not any image there. When I go on my website, on the blog page, everything’s alright and I can clearly see the featured images. If people check through wordpress.com, they won’t see any photo, and it’s annoying. Any help would be so much appreciated.
