What version of filemaker is supported by wordpress ?
We are trying to use filemaker server 16.

I am looking for a plugin that will allow me to add a search box to a page that allows someone to type in the name of a specific product my company makes and then have the relevant info about that product produced on the screen. All the data is located in a spreadsheet or Filemaker.

Does anyone know of such a plugin?

1) Formatting the fields to be exported. For example, a record having:
Author
book’s title
edition
internal “physical” code (“where is this book”?),
and the Unique Identifier (UI) for WPAllImport.
Some more words about the UI. If you don’t indicate this UI, the plugin could skip importing some records. Simply, in FileMaker you can create a field with the progressive number of the records. This will be your UI, and the plugin will import all your records.
In FileMaker, you can add html code if you need some in WP, i.e. adding <b>,<p>,<i> and so on, WP will understand the code and format your posts as you like. Then, export your records as .csv (do not open it with Excel or other monstrous programs, simply save it maybe using UTF-8 coding, that’s all).

2) in WPAllImport, follow the official Guide: you’ll link the field Title (“column 1”), the infos in the body (“column 2), taxonomy and so on, except the field with your UI, which you will finally drag in its position ONLY in step 4, where you won’t use “Auto-detect”.

I understand I can do this through cURL or class-IXR.php or class-wp-xmlrpc-server.php or some PHP or other intermediary software, but I do not want to use those (I want to compose the request myself). I see a lot of examples for using these functions. All of these functions compose something – a string characters – that is ultimately sent to xmlrpc.php. I want to know how to write that request manually so I can direct FileMaker to write it.

Is this possible? Can I use a text editor to write a WordPress xmlrpc request? If so, how do I do it? What is its format, requirements, etc.? I have not seen any discussion about the content or format of that request. I have examined the source for the classes mentioned above. Is my only option to reverse engineering them, or, has this been done already?

I need to be able to get pull the records into FileMaker from mySQL.

Sadly, the data created in the mySQL database (which I could connect to) is not useful, because you don’t have a record for each submission with a primary key, rather each entry field has its own record.
