import .swf files to gallery?

I’ve been trying to create a gallery to show my .swf files but I cannot import .swfs into a gallery – I get an error message – “Error: Invalid file extension:” I can upload jpgs etc to a gallery but I cannot get the jpg images to show up in a gallery page.

How do you add swf files to a gallery and get the gallery images to appear in a page?

[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] FlashViewer and NextGEN gallery problem

Since upgrading to 1.8.2 (latest version) of NextGEN gallery, my Flashviewer plugin (SWFs) are no longer working.

For example, with SimpleViewer (viewer.swf) I get the error:

Gallery not found

The code in the post is:

[simpleviewer=31,570,570]

Similarily, for TiltViewer, I get a blank screen and no images.

Please can you tell me what has changed? It looks like the galleries are not being found by the Fashviewer plugin or is it a NextGEN issue?

A fix for this will be very much appreciated.

Attempted to go on the developers website to post a question but 1/2 the website is 404’ing and it doesn’t appear that he’s been active recently. Does anyone know if this plugin is still supported?

Anyway, my problem…

Playing around with the SimpleViewer display and I can’t manage to change the size of the frame or get the image to appear? It would be really great if this were working for an alternative option to the plain jane NextGEN gallery. Thoughts?

Tiltviewer Pro options missing from nextgen-flashviewer plugin

I am using Tiltviewer pro in conjunction with WordPress and NEXTgen-flashviewer but I cannot see all the Tiltviewer pro options in Flashviewer such as ’tiltAmountIn’ and ’tiltAmountOut’. How do I edit these options?

[NextGen Flashviewer] thickbox overlay too small

I have a problem with flashviewer plugin working with autoviewer.swf.

No matter what parameters I type in the shortcode:
(autoviewer id=”galleryID” width=”1000″ height=”1000″ link=”mygallery”)

I always end up with a thickbox window wich has a height of around 400 pixels. The thickbox seems to respond to the width parameter and I can specify any width. but in the case of height, there’s no change. Only ugly scrollbars appear and I have to scroll the flash within the window.

How can I find a solution to this? What’s the problem?

The latest NGG version working well with WP 2.6.5 – anyone knows?
(Preferably it should also work with Nextgen Flashviewer but its not critical)

SlideShow Pro is not loading the correct XML document

I’m working with a trial version of SlideShow Pro to try and integrate it with NextGen Gallery.
I modified NGG FlashViewer to generate the necessary XML and pass the correct FlashVars to SWFObject, which I use to load slideshowpro.swf.

BUT… when I examine traffic using FireBug, I see that SSPro is still looking for the default images.xml file, which is what it uses without extra params.

I DID get this working once, but I can’t seem to repeat it. I don’t understand why it won’t work again.

I’d really like to get this working, since NextGen Gallery is a great way to manage photo galleries, and SSP is a wonderful way to display them…

I have run out of things to try to get the simpleviewer addon (flashviewer) working with my NextGen Gallery.

Several hopefully useful screen shots can be seen here

The NextGen galleries are working (as can be seen at the top of the post) but the simpleviewer says “gallery not found”

Anyone see what I might be doing wrong?
Any suggestions much appreciated! thanks.

Upgraded to WP 2.7 and then upgraded NextGen gallery to version 1.0.1 but now at the top of the plugin page it just says…

‘Sorry, NextGEN Gallery SimpleViewer works only in Combination with NextGEN Gallery’

‘Sorry, NextGEN Smooth Gallery works only in Combination with NextGEN Gallery’

Nextgen gallery is installed and activated, simpleviewer and smooth gallery are installed and activated…why are they no longer recognized by Nextgen?

Any help with this would be great as this plugin was working faultlessly till the upgrade.

Hi,

I’m using NextGen Gallery plugin with Simpleviewer on my website, I’d like to be able to change the thumbnails size, is there a simple way to do this ?

If not, I’m considering buying the Simpleviewer pro to have more custom options, but how can I simply replace the swf from the NGG flashviewer to simpleviewer pro ? I figure the XML part will be quite different.
