Too Many Flaws

We have been using Yith RFQ Pro for the last 8 years, but sadly we are forced to uninstall and use a competitor product. While the original RFQ concept was great, the product has too many flaws 1) Yith only uses WordPress .pdf templates – instead of our alternative .pdf plugin. 2) Any additional text added before, after or to the customer notes doesn’t stay in the quote form. 3) Most of the time we submit a quote to a customer, but the developer of this plugin doesn’t test this use case, so it doesn’t work for our needs. The worst is that the Pro version doesn’t continue working unless you pay the yearly subscription fee.

Almost Fantastic, huge omission.

This is a terrific plugin with one major flaw in my opinion. It does exactly what it says it will do and it does so swiftly and without fuss.
Setup is easy and is highly configurable and can be modified to suit the layout of your site.

Now, the flaw. I find it incredulous that a booking plugin does not have an import function. You are able to export your bookings to a CSV file but you can’t import them!
So, you can export your bookings if you want to move your bookings to a competitor plugin but you cannot import your current bookings if you are wanting to move over to WPTimeSlots.

I find that very shortsighted by the developers and cant imagine it would be hard to implement.

Because of this huge omission I can only give it 3/5 stars.

Seems to have gone out of control

I was originally very happy with Ninja Forms about 10 years ago. It was a cleaner interface and more intuitive to use.

Today, however, it seems to have lost its direction. Forms often become stuck in maintenance mode and there is a hard to find button that says click this button if this happens (?!). Settings for forms are now much less intuitive. On one part of the system there are a series of tabs, the last of which is labelled “Advanced”. That tab contains a number of settings and several links, one of which is also labelled “Advanced”. Yikes.

I’ve had to manually search for and replace incorrect subject lines that, although they display correctly in the form editor, what is actually stored in the database is still an older version of the subject. More yikes.

The plugin has usually been reliable, but I’ve gotten much more worries about it as the number of these strange design decisions and odd flaws has grown. Seems like a rudderless ship plowing towards the rocks.

One of the best, but flawed in dark theme

This plugin is confusing as heck and has no info boxes to tell you what you are doing. The developers don’t get back to you on the support page, which makes this plugin hard to use, and discourages the purchase of the Pro version. It does work very simply as a donation box, however, all of the extra features have no documentation and many of the options in the settings page have no documentation either. The donation boxes work pretty easily if you can figure it out, but the other features are questionable because you can’t figure out on your own what they do or how they work. One example is that this plugin requires you to have an Infura api key, which what the hell is Infura anyways? What does it even do? I just want my addresses from exodus wallet to be published in the donation box and have no idea what Infura is about or why i’m required to use it. Kind of an undersupported app. Maybe the pro version gets actual support? On the bright side, it does support a ton of currencies and does what it is supposed to after much tinkering around.

This feature give everything you would need and perhaps want in simple and advanced page building. At first I was like hell no. But to understand how to survive in this difficult time of e-business one must learn how to embrace changes. Especially ones that are inevitable. As technology evolves so must we. Gutenberg allows for a simple clean page building experience. And the fact that you will no longer need to install some additional plugins means faster page load times…

Try it for a week or two, you’ll love it, especially all the extra cool new features.

ALSO MOST EDITORS ARE BUILT ON THE “BLOCK” STYLE… SO WHAT THE FUSS. THIS COMPLETELY REPLACES THE NEED FOR PAGEBUILDER AND ANY OTHERS…

Flawed security

One of my website was hacked. Never again will I use this plugin. Even though the
author claimed the security was fixed.
The irony is most people installed this plugin to be compliant, this plugin is not security compliant.
After all, this plugin was not so useful.

I originally had some issues with losing work I had on a staging site, however the author was quick to offer help and work on resolving any bugs in the plugin. It is a work in progress and I should have been more diligent in backing up my staging site.
