I’ve tried Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Sitebulb and others, and they all pickup other meta data like the ‘Meta Description’ and ‘SEO Title’, but never the ‘Focus keyphrase’.
Can someone explain why this is? If the ‘Focus keyphrase’ isn’t being picked up in SEO audits, is it even relevant?
]]>I compose most of my posts offline and upload them to my site via the WordPress API. I see that in Yoast’s configuration there are options to automatically generate the SEO title and Meta description using fields from the post. Please see the screen shot below.
Would it be possible to add the option to specify a field from which to draw the Focus keyphrase? As far as I know, the keyphrase must be manually entered for each post. See the screenshot below.
