I have selected Media in the Post Types count, but don’t know where this information would be displayed. Unfortunately Foo-Gallery doesn’t allow for shortcodes in item information.
Has anyone gotten anything like this to work?
]]>So I tried this, and it works very easily. It does take a little time and a few refreshes for the new image to appear correctly in Foo Gallery (deleting the WP cache helps), but I’m very pleased with the result.
]]>I’m currently trying out the free version of Ajax Search, and it looks great.
I see that two of the post types to search are Foogalleries and fooalbums, but it’s not coming up with any results from either. I added pages and posts as a test, and it does work for those.
Do I need to do something special for the Foo Gallery to be searched?
Thanks!
]]>In the end i have to uninstall it because of this. Please find another way to promote your premium version.
Can you imagine what would happen if all plugin developers occupied dashboard area in order to promote their plugins??? No hard to imagine i suppose, still you continue doing it…
I have installed your plugin and testing. I have got it working but NOT the Lightbox. It opens up images but then I have to click on back button to go back. I need the lightbox working.
It says somewhere that I have to have Lightbox Foo Gallery Pro for lightbox to work , I am hoping that is NOT correct ?
I have checked Settings aNd if I go to EDIT Gallery to check settings, under Lightbox it says – PRO Lightbox … So therefore Lightbox is NOT default in the free veresion is that correct ?
Therefore which Pro version do I have to buy is the $15 cheaper one sufficient for the lightbox to function ?
All other gallery plugins work WITHOUT having to purchase a Pro version for lightbox to work so this is a bit strange.
Please advise HOW to get lightbox working on the free version ?
Thanks
Kristin
I don’t want to be going through every page of my site to try find a gallery I have added.
Thanks.
]]>But I’m struggling with the gallery layout losing its style or changing its style after a few hours, and I don’t know why.
I actually have several galleries set up. This happens to some of them, and I haven’t figured out yet why it affects only some. Everything should be set up the same.
I would have a better chance of figuring out the problem if I knew what was happening.
The gallery is set up for the thumbnails to be 250 pixels in width, with no caption showing. Two thumbnails fit across the browser screen on a standard laptop.
After a few hours, the layout changes to the thumbnails stacked one to a line with a caption showing underneath.
The lightbox still works after the layout is lost. I can click a photo and launch the lightbox.
I can fix the layout issue by using the two provided cache buttons in the settings. The galleries return to their correct styling.
I did look in the web console for JavaScript errors. I am not seeing any.
I have had the plugin installed for several months. I’m not sure it happened right away. I’d like to think I would have noticed. But it’s happening every few hours now.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.
]]>I am using FOO Gallery as the plugin to display my portfolio. When I use 3 column mode, as opposed to fixed mode, the right side has more space than the left side (both sides are equal with fixed mode).
How can I fix this, please?
Many thanks,
