URLs not working properly even with force option

Hello,

First of all, thank you for the great product! The problem I’m having is that I was able to translate the homepage without any problem, switcher works fine, no issues. However, when I click on any other page on my website, and I switch the switcher from HU to SK, it doesn’t switch and therefore I can’t start translating the page. I tried translating the contact page from within the Pages, and I managed to do it, but it’s not showing up only if I manually add the sk to the URL, like this https://bestoptika.hu/sk/index.php/rolunk/, i.e. if you are on this page without /sk/ and you click the switcher, it doesn’t do anything. I have the ‘Force language in custom links’ set to Yes. I tried to set it to No and back to Yes, but nothing happened. Also, flushed cache multiple times, didn’t help either. Please help, I’d love to continue using your product.

Does not always refresh after save to show updates

Hi, as per my (5 star) review, thanks for this GREAT, and very useful plugin.

A problem I’ve received feedback about though…..

For our set up we are using the ‘required fields’ option, and then the ‘profile image’ option – so the user fills in the required fields, saves and then receives the second screen message about the profile image after saving the required field info successfully.

The problem is, upon hitting save for the ‘required fields’ part of completion, the plugin does not always refresh the page with the updated information that has been added to the profile, and so users are left wondering, or to hit refresh to find out if changes have been saved as entered (which they invariably have). This can be confusing for users who aren’t tech-savvy enough to know immediately to refresh / f5.

The same thing happens after image upload, the error message does not disappear, it requires a page refresh in order to show the image and remove the error, after which the user can navigate the site.

Can you think of a reason this might be happening?

Or if not, of something I could do to remove the issue, even if it’s force a hard refresh upon hitting the save button or something?

Users have also fed back that it seems a little disorientating that nothing happens once all of the required info has been saved, for example a final screen message (perhaps something suitable to remain on the edit profile screen full time unless any required info is deleted?), saying ‘Congratulations, your profile info is complete with the basic required info, we hope you enjoy using the site….’

Force site to switch my preffered currency?

I need to force my site to switch the currency to NOK (second currency) by default. i.e. set my second currency to act as default on users view.

Is that a settings for to do so?
I cant find it, is that possible?

Do we HAVE TO switch to The Events Calendar? Wordfence is rinigng alarms about the latest Gigpress version I have – 2.3.28.

I use TEC on another site, it’s fine, but Gigpress was perfect for thisone site, and I’d prefer to continue using it.

Force currency for frontend order price, even if it is recalculated in backend

Hi,

Is there a way to force a currency for an order on frontend, even if the order has been recalculated at backend.

For example, an order is paid in USD, but for bookkeeping purposes, I have to recalculate all orders in EUR. So I do that in the backend after the order is complete. But this also shows up in the frontend for the client. I dont want that. I want to show the price for his order in the original currency he paid – USD.

The currency switcher is not affecting the order price currencies on the frontend for some reason.

Please advise if this is achievable.

Highly recommended, “lean” solution if you want to protect your website against automated attacks very quickly. I could’nt see any conflicts with other installations till now. If you offer this longer, it will be donated.

Hi,

We have a website which is a forwarding website to another domain.

I’ve found that every action that is taken including within the Dashboard prompts the login screen (even when logged in).

I’ve reviewed the WordPress configurations including the plugins and can’t see why this is occurring.

Has anyone seen this happen before?

Any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cookie Based Brute Force Protection

So I am using AIOS and it has been great. But just a few questions about the Cookie Based Brute Force Protection feature:

If you site allow users to signup for memberships, how will you allow the users to login to your site? With or without giving them the cookie authentication URL
If you are using ManageWP, would the automatic login work?
If you are migrating a WordPress site, would you need to disable this feature? I tried to create a staging site on a different URL and can’t access admin page
Lastly, in the plugin area, it shows a feature that disables AJAX. What plugins or features use AJAX? I couldn’t find anything from Google.

– Changing Login URL
– Whitelist our IP
– Recaptcha
– 2FA

But still, it’s not working and the login attempts continue to happen
