Saved edits being erased after save failure

I am having a recurring issue with the Stories plugin:

– I work on web story graphics, saving my changes successfully

– Randomly in the middle of my edits, I get an error/failure message either when trying to upload images (“failed to upload”), or when adding a link to the page attachment section (“invalid link”)

– After receiving those failed upload or invalid link notices, I get a “failed to save updates” message when I click the save button

– I am then forced to reload the page, and find that I have been logged out (even though I’ve been continuously active in the session for over an hour each time)

– When I log back in, none of my edits from the session are saved–not even the ones that I had saved earlier in the session.

This has happened four times now. I use this plugin on another WP site, and have never had this issue there.

Could this be caused by a conflict with another plugin?

Force Logout Bug

Hi,

I use your plugin on several websites and I really like it. But it seems there is a bug. When I activate force logout function and set e.g. 30 minutes the plugin logges me out while I’m working on products or pages! After I logged in again I can’t save the page or product changes. Very annoying. Please can you check this? I use plugin version 4.4.8 and I had this bug in last versions as well.

Good afternoon. I have an issue that I log into my account, but for some reason if I press in some pages, my website just log me out. I log in again, but if I press again, it happens again. It happens to all users.

It’s an academy, so I’m using plugins like WooCommerce, Courseware and YITH mainly.

Can any one help me to understand this situation?

Two-Factor + All in one WP security

Hi,

Two-Factor workes well, but I have one problem. When I activate forced-logout after xx min with the “All in one WP security” Plugin, I have no access to my website. After that XX time, when wordpress logs me automatically off and I try to access my website I get in an login endless loop!
I tried with TOTP, Email and Backup Code, but every time I land again on loginscreen.
I have 2 accounts, so I have access now, but I want to use the plugin with forced-logout.

Can s.o. help me?

Hello, after about an hour of no activity I get logged out as admin. I didn’t check the box. To be sure, I choose 6000 minutes. This does not solve the problem. I don’t want a forced logout at all, because I work on the website 24/7. Thanks for your advise.

Hallo, in the last 3-4 weeks the plugin started to log me out after 10-20 minutes of inactivity in the website. I have not activated the Force user out function, by the way the plugins logs me out. I have to switch off and then on the modem. So annoying.

When I go from dashboard to visit site I get knocked out of being logged in. If I leave a comment as not logged in, or naviagte to another page I am auto logged back in. If I click on home, then I am logged out again. Clearing all caches does not help. This happened after the upgrade to v9.2

Forced Logout Causing Redirect Loop Error

I’m installing All In One WP Security & Firewall on a fresh WordPress install using Twenty Fifteen theme. One of the criteria of the project is to have a forced logout. All is fine with the AIOWS until I enable the forced logout feature – then it starts looping the site immediately with the below:

And it then gives an error of too many redirects and I can’t get in. I’ve tried removing it, including the table in phpMyAdmin, and reinstalling/configuring just to make sure that it wasn’t a fluke, and it does it again.

Is there a fix for this? Is there a combination of settings that causes this? The first time that I tried it I had not enabled the redirect login page yet. The second time I did set that first and the outcome was the same.

Adjust Time Allowed to Edit Before Logged Out

I would like to be able to edit and work in the admin area of my sites without having to continually having to log back in every hour. How can I modify the time from one hour to five or six hours?
