Two Case Studies –
One client was getting in excess of 300+ Spam Form submissions a week. Tried other options, but nothing really stopped the spamming completely.
Added Human Presence the spam is history.

The second client when we took over their site, had over 1,000,000 (yes MILLION!) comment spam showing in comments. My guess is they were getting in excess of 600to 700 a day. Activating Human Presence solved this issue as well.

I first noticed WP Armour when I had to fix form spamming via WP Forms a couple of weeks ago. I installed it and there is nothing to configure. The form spam was stopped immediately. Then I noticed in forums on FB that lots of people using Divi and its inbuilt form elements were receiving form submissions with the variables in the submission (like %%email%%). WP Armour stopped that, too.

I paid for a full unlimited license and replaced both CF7 Honeypot and Antispam Bee on my site with AP Armour to test it. CF7 Honeypot mostly stopped form spam if I used two or three honeypots within the form body and Antispam Bee also worked quite well, but with AP Armour so far nothing has come through. And still there is no need to actually configure anything.

This was well worth the money.

I’ve used ReCaptcha through Gravity Forms for many years across all of my client websites to stop form spam, but somehow the bots still get through. That’s when I stumbled on to the Human Presence plugin…This plugin is so powerful at stopping all form spam and it does it invisibly without the annoying ReCaptcha on every form. I recommend this to all users dealing with WordPress comments spam, form spam, and looking for a better alternative to Akismet spam protection.

Our go to anti spam plugin for WordPress (and many other installation types) CleanTalk, just is a dream to use. Installs with just about 4 mouse clicks and works every time. Say goodbye to form and comment spam. Now integrates with Woocommerce checkout as well.
Along with Wordfence, UpdraftPlus this is on our “must have” list of plugin installs.

Doesn’t seem to work at all for registration spam

Installed it on 2 websites to prevent registration spam on one (didn’t work) and form spam on the other (seems to be working, not sure yet). Many spam registrations for an online WooCommerce shop were coming in all day long, I expected this plugin to block them but it doesn’t.

Still, it seems to somehow block the form spam so far on the other website. Will have to wait and see.

I am getting tons of spam through my contact forms, I took out the catpcha because I thought your product would work without it. Now I am getting numbers in the form one after another, do I need to re-add the captcha?
