TL;DR: What’s the best way to achieve a permanent forward / redirect from a new subdomain to an existing WP site?

I’m just getting back into using WP after a 10+ year haitus and am super rusty.

I have setup WP Network using subdomains for each site. This is working well, however now I would like to create a subdomain that forwards or redirects to an existing WP site. I.e. new.mysite.com >> mysite.com

Simply adding a CNAME to my DNS doesn’t work (404, which I half expected).

I did see the MU Domain Mapping plugin but it looks out of date. TBH I’d prefer a method that doesn’t require another plugin, but I’ll do what I must!

Any recommendations?

We use GTtranslate and it great. Now we build new Chinese website and would like to add that when someone click “Chinese (Simplified)” – we send him to a new website, rather than show the translation or the English website. For all other languages we want to keep as it is.
Can we forward drop down to go to external URL when “Chinese (Simplified)” is selected?

I have a foundation website in English and Thai with an English donation page that ends in domain.org/give. The translation option is set as a menu item. When someone chooses Thai language from the menu it goes to domain.org/th/give
I could translate everything on that page, but I need the Thai page to have unique giving option content.

How do I edit domain.org/th/give so that they see different giving options from the English page? Is there a way for me to manually edit that page the way I normally do for pages I create?

Alternatively, is there a way to make it so that when they click the Thai language option in the menu, it goes to a page I’ve already manually created such as domain.org/givethai ? This would be a work around.

There are 2 problems on the desktop version:
1. When I click on WhatsApp baloon, my website forwards itself to “Contact Us” page. And the WhatsApp chat window opens only when I stand the mouse on the baloon for 2 – 3 seconds without clicking. (otherwise if I click, it goes to Contact Us page).
3. When I close the chat window, or if I click anything on the chat window except “go to WhatsApp” button, it again forwards to Contact Us page.

The similar thing is also for mobile version. If I tap the baloon, it forwards to Contact Us.

Please help me.

I’m using this awesome plug-in in combination with a SCSS framework.

But since the last version they also use @use and @forward instead of @import only. This creates unwanted compiling errors.

Can @use and @forward be supported?

trying your execelent pop-up. For some reason its only forwarding to the vimeo clips instead of playing in lightbox. A youtube link instead works correctly. Do you have some idea how get a vimeo playing inside our website?

Hi. If I embed a product page somewhere that has no browser controls (like an app, for example), if I share a product and then go back to the page, I’m stuck with this: https://imgur.com/a/G4sSx4h
