This is an amazing plugin addition for Elementor if you are willing to put in the time to learn what it can do and integrate with. The basics are straightforward and easy to apply, but integrations with other plugins and conditional rules or forms can be a little tedious to create, but when finished, you have full control and much more opportunities for future development growth.

It has increased our development capabilities substantially for a fraction of the price of what you would normally need multiple plugins for.

Post excerpt field not showing in published form

Hi!

I am facing a problem with a form created with WPUF and, after many hours trying to solve it by myself, some help would be definitely welcome.

I have created a form with WPUF. In this form, the post excerpt field is included. In the preview mode, this field is totally visible -the li element wpuf-el post_excerpt-. However, when I insert the form in a page for the user to create posts from the front-end, all the fields I inserted in the form are visible except this excerpt field. The li element ‘wpuf-el post_excerpt’ is now totally missing in the inspector. I have no clue on why this could be happening, since I am able to set an excerpt for the posts from the individual post edition page in the dashboard. Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Hi, I just purchased wck and I am now trying to incorporate it into my site. I am a beginner coder using profile builder and I really like it. Subscribers on my site can currently only register and create a profile. On my homepage I have extra_search_all_fields and the “all user-listing” template. I would like to remove the template and now have just the search and “posts” on the website homepage. How do I add posts so that when any of my subscribers submits the latest post goes to the top? Also, How do I add a post link to to the profile or is it only possible to add it to the menu when a user is logged in? I appreciate the help very much.

I really like your plugin. It helps when others theme doesn’t have front end posting functionality. But the widgets are causing a problem for other custom fields. Please make an option to turn off widgets from posts and pages completely.

Duplicate Content Issue

Hi There,

I notice that all the links from the post loop in the group blog goes to inner page of group…. the problem is that this creates a duplicate of the post.

You not only can access the post from the permalink for ordinary single post

https:// sitename / postname

but you can also access the same post from the BP Post Status blog with a different permalink.

https:// sitename /groups/groupname/postname

A suggestion might be to enable the excerpt to show in the group page but the permalinks from the BP Post Status Blog go to regular post of wordpress. (only allowing group members to access the full post)

That way excerpts can be shown where needed but only full access is granted to group members. (non members can be redirected back to “request membership” or group home page.

You will also stop the duplicate content issue
