We’re using Frontend Publishing Pro and need to manually save re-save posts via Dashbord, because automatically posted posts from the frontend are kind of ignored.

Could you please help me? – Do you need any further information?

Unable to Draft My Posts

Hi,

I am using your plugin to have frontend publishing methods at my side. It works fine but i am not able to save the posts draft, they are pubkishibg fine but clicking draft button doesn’t make anything happen. I am using this plugin to have account, edit, and new post pages at my site. Rest all pages are hosted via 3rd party.

I have tried conflict test and what not but it does not solve please help.

Is there a way to automate a notification the publisher if/when their article becomes published? We would like to let people know when their submission is accepted.

We were having a continuous 502 error when combined with Awesome Support plugin. Hasan kindly looked into the matter and improved the plugin to solve our issue. Now works like a charm! Thanks again Hasan.

Memory issue with this plugin

We keep having the issue that Frontend plugin when used with the popular Awesome Support plugin https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/awesome-support throws us a big 502 error. My coder looked into it, even the hosting provider who tried to tweak our memory; all to no avail.

Now also Awesome Support looked into this matter and can provide you the following feedback:

I just installed the version of front-end-publishing that is in the www.ads-software.com directory. It generates an out of memory message no matter how much memory I throw at it. I think its trying to do something weird with our tickets. Their pro version apparently allows you to handle custom post types so if this version has that capability built-in (but hidden( then it might just be trying to do something weird with our tickets and replies and running out of memory in the process. I’ve given it as much as 2 gigs of memory and it just uses it all up until it generates a php fatal error.

We’re not going to be able to drill into this – I think you should turn this over to the FEP folks – no way should it’s page be running out of memory regardless of which CPT it’s trying to handle.

The php log file only generates one line with this error: /wp-includes/class.wp-scripts.php, line 457. (That line in the file is core to WP and seems to be related to translations – maybe that will give them some idea as to what is going on.)

Please look into this. Sounds like here’s clearly a bug in your plugin.

Conflict with Frontend Publishing plugin

Unfortunately the plugin still conflicts with Frontend Publishing plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/front-end-publishing/
As soon as Awesome Support is activated it turns the front end publishing pages in a 502 error.
Had my coder look into it but to no avail. We hope this can be solved, would love to use your tickets again.

Front end posts 502 error

The front end posts page gives me a 502 error on Nginx 1.10.1 and PHP 5.6.23. Browser php-fpm5.6 process is using almost 50% of server CPU (only for one vistor) and continues to do so until error 502 Bad Gateway is returned. Looking at strace it tries to do quite big number of database queries – in about 20 seconds 1313 SELECTs. Possibly there’s a bug in the plugin.. it worked on an older version of Nginx and PHP.

"Too short" error message

When trying to post, I continue to get “too short” error messages.

Your submission has errors. Please try again!
The title is too short
The article is too short

I’ve tried setting the minimums to zero, and posting hundreds of words of text, and keep getting the same error.

Any ideas how to remedy this?
