Can we add hidden fields – GCLID?

Hello, We do not have the pro version of the GoToWebinar plug-in and was wondering if there is a way to add a hidden form input element that passes gclid (Google Ads click id) to that field? Is this possible with your plug-in? Does the Pro version allow this?

This is what we are trying to do:

Change email address if GCLID present?

Hi – looking to use Forminator on vinyl-wanted.com. We display 2 different email addresses based on whether there is a GCLID (ie comes from Google Adwords). We would like the form submission to also do the same, so if there is a GCLID it is sent to [email protected] and if not then sent to [email protected].

Capture GCLID across a different page

Hi there,

I’m trying to capture the GCLID when a user comes to site via a hidden field. When the user lands directly on the page with the form and the GCLID is in the URL, everyting works fine.

But generally I’m directing users to different product pages, then they navigate to the form, so the GCLID is dropped from the URL.

Is there anyway to capture in the form with this type of customer journey?

I’m also storing the GCLID (through tag manager) as a cookie in local storage and I can see that this is passed through on the different pages in devloper tools.

As an example, I’m using these two URLs to test;

https://54digital.co.uk/newform/?gclid=direct_to_form_page

the one above works, as it lands directly on the page with my test form

but when I use the below

https://54digital.co.uk/?gclid=to_home_page_then_on

And then navigate to https://54digital.co.uk/newform/ it isn’t submitted.

I just experience something strange: a ‘_’ in the GCLID changes into ‘-‘. I’ve noticed that with i.e. url https://xyz.nl/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuN7Q2PrN5AIVleh3Ch1qqQ3EEAAYASAAEgJfTvD_BwE the GCLID that gets pushed on this page with shortcode [gclid] becomes EAIaIQobChMIuN7Q2PrN5AIVleh3Ch1qqQ3EEAAYASAAEgJfTvD-BwE.

Could this be a little bug in the plugin, or something I can fix myself? Any help is welcome, thanks!

This plugin is my favorite plugin in wordpress, I searched for 2 weeks to find a plugin which transfers GCLID to all pages, and when I found it, I was on the clouds !

Adding Zoho CRM Code to Ninja Form

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to add some custom code to my Ninja Forms so that when someone clicks on a Google Ad, they go to the page with the Ninja Form, fill it out, and when its submitted its automatically added to Zoho CRM as a lead. Currently it does this, however there is some extra code you can add to the forms that let you gather GCLID info as well. It seems other forms let you easily add this code, but i’ve yet to figure out how to get Ninja Forms to do it.

The plugin works very well.
