After 8.0 Update EWWIO cant finde gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant

Since i’ve updatet EWWW IO to 8.0 the plugin tells me this:

EWWW Image Optimizer verwendet Open-Source-Werkzeuge, um den kostenlosen Modus zu aktivieren, aber diese fehlen auf deinem Server: gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant. Bitte installiere sie gem?? der Installationsanweisungen, um im kostenlosen Modus fortzufahren.

Englisch: EWWW Image Optimiser uses open source tools to enable free mode, but these are missing on your server: gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng, pngquant. Please install them according to the installation instructions to continue in free mode.

But i have nothing changed! gifsicle, jpegtran, optipng and pngquant are still their, where they were before and the same versions.

What should i do?

Is this are false warning?

Binnaries in other place in server jpegtran optipng gifsicle oraz pngquant

I have problem I not owner of the serwer. I ask admin to install jpegtran optipng gifsicle and pngquant on my server. He install it but somewhere else on My server.
I can t copy that to EWWW folder. Is any way to change url to this plugin?

Hello,

I’m trying to install EWWW on my WordPress site. It’s hosted on Godaddy, Windows, and the PHP version is 5.3. WordPress version is 4.6.

The plugin page shows the message:

I have reviewed the install instructions and verified that the .exe versions of those files are in the /EWWW folder. Don’t really know what else to try. Any suggestions?

Stops working after a while

Hello,

Fighting EWWW on a Digital Ocean droplet is kinda hard. Me and a friend has had huge troubles getting EWWW to work.

After fiddlin’ around with permissions, groups and users I managed to get EWWW to work. Now, after a few days, EWWW has stopped working again without me doing anything. It says that “jpegtran, optipng, gifsicle” is missing.

Permissions on /ewww and all its binaries in the /wp-content directory:

Hello! Sorry, I do not know much English! Please help me to solve problems with the installation opting and gifsicle! I really can not understand how they should be installed.

When I installed the plugin EWWW IMAGE Optimizer, its folder contains all the files, including .exe relating to opting and gifsicle, but the plugin settings on the website wordpress write that they do not exist!

I also tried to plugin settings on the website is automatically set pngout he established. But when I optimizes the image png, they are still not optimized, and writes that need this the most opting? Again the problem!

Help please, I understand the programming and with your advice, I quickly decide the problem … If you can – write a step by step procedure. Thanking you in advance!

optipng and gifsicle not working

I have tried deleting and re-installing the plugin multiple times, as well as enabling permissions on the ewww folder. I can’t seem to get optipng or gifsicle working. The plugin status section says that they are missing, but they are in the ewww folder as well as the plugin folder.

I don’t really understand what else I can do at this point.

Have tried to follow other posts but still not working
Hosted on GoDaddy – Windows via Plesk
Deleted plugin from WP via admin. Removed from GoDaddy via file manager
Re-installed with same error. This time realized that there are two EWW files. One under WP-Content with 5 .exe files in it:
cwebp.exe
gifsicle.exe
jpegtran.exe
optipng.exe
ongquant.exe

I moved the 3 missing in the plugins/ewww-image-optimizer folder there, deactivated and reactivated the plugin…same error. So I deleted the wp-content/ewww folder and de/re activated again. Same result.

Decided I better talk to the expert since I’m not sure what the wp-content/ewww folder is for. I thought maybe .exe files had to go in there vs under plugins, but the folder there had .exe files in it. I’m in waaay over my depth now.
