Hi,

For our website we want to add giftcards. So that during the holiday-season you can buy a giftcard for someone else for like 50, 100, or 150 euro. How does this work with the subscriptions?

Important to know:

We use the blocks editor with woocommerce
The subscriptions will be structured with a one time payment + monthly payments.

Questions:

What plugins do you recommend to add giftcards and/or vouchercodes to our website?
If the one time payment is 50,- and you enter a giftcard for 100,-, what wil happen?
Can a giftcard also influence the monthly payments?

Recipient Details for WooCommerce Gift Card are not being added to cart

I have discovered that recipient details aren’t being added to the cart when a gift card is purchased meaning that no gift card code is being generated or emailed when this option is selected. It works fine if the customer chooses to send the gift card to themselves.

I have read on here that this could be due to a theme AJAX Add-to-cart conflict, but no details were provided on the thread on how to solve this.

I use the Hestia theme.

I don’t have the AJAX add to cart for WooCommerce plugin currently.

Could someone help provide a fix please?

Buonasera, ho visto che più di un mese fa è sorto un problema di visibilità della data di scadenza e non è stato risolto. Vedo che il plugin non è stato ancora testato con la versione attuale di wordpress. Funziona bene ma mi chiedo se sarà affidabile nel prossimo futuro.

Add to cart & preview issue

Hi!

I’m using the Pro version of Ultimate Gift Cards for WooCommerce version 2.8.8 and I have several issues include some with the preview functionality and add to cart button.

Most of the time the “Select Date” don’t show the calendar on click.
Most of the time the characters counter doesn’t work.

If I fill every field and hit “preview” it doesn’t show any preview unless I to the following steps:

Press Add to cart (which doesn’t add to cart on the first click)
It will then say that “Recipient Email: Field is empty.” and “From: Field is empty.” even if I already filled them. I don’t know why it disappears.
Fill the fields again
Press Preview and now it shows the preview
Press “add to cart” again and now it redirects correctly to the cart

I have the same problem on both languages of my website (I’m using WPML Pro).

Even if I disable the Preview Button, I have the same issue to add to cart, I need to fill things twice and press “Add to cart” button twice.

It’s a shame for a plugin I paid.

Any idea why is it happening and how to fix it?

There was an issue with expiry date not displaying, posted the issue, follow up was quick and fix was implemented. Nothing more than great support from the VillaTheme team.

Possibilities with this plugin are endless, it’s the only giftcard plugin that works well for instore exchange of giftcards. Used it for a gardening center. Also you can design your own giftcard and just place all the details on top of it, perfectly aligned.

Highly recommended!

Purchase date and/or expiry date shortcode

Hi,

First of all great plugin, thank you for developing this!

I have set it all up with some customisations, but i have one bug and a missing feature.

On the product edit page, under the coupon tab, I’ve set ‘Expiry date after day(s)’ to 365 (days). When editing my card template the shortcode {coupon_expiry_date} doesn’t work with this option. I really need it to work, setting a manual expiry date doesn’t work in my use case.
Additionally or alternatively, i would like to add the purchase date on the pdf. How would you go around fixing this?

I tested several giftcard plugins and this one is excellent. Developer is kind and he gives awesome support. I used the free version and upgraded to PRO version. Can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for a Gift Card solution, please try this one.

Customer charged full amount order when use a giftcard

I have the same problem… All gifcards are visually applied, but effectively they are not applied and end up at checkout making the customer pay the total amount of the order without the supposed discount.

Has anyone found the solution?

Hi, we have a little issue with the gift cardsn.
We sell two gift cards through the site, one digital and the other physical.
when we sell the digital, the recipient’s email is requested, if the recipient signs up, he sees his giftcard in his profile, and in the event of partial use, in the balance column he sees how much he has left to spend on the card.
When we send a physical card with a code issued by us, an email is not required. The recipient, even if he decides to sign up, has nothing in the giftcard entry of his account. We thought that by signing up and using his card to make purchases, then he would see the balance in his profile. We would like to see it all the time but it doesn’t seem to be the case.
Some idea?
