The error code I get through the developer options is:
Refused to display ‘https://www.arcgis.com/home/signin.html?returnUrl=https%3A//www.arcgis.com/apps/Embed/index.html%3Fwebmap%3D8f6ac81be14b4f24bcda4dcc6d21a5e4%26extent%3D%26theme%3Dlight%26zoom%3Dfalse%26scale%3Dfalse%26disable_scroll%3Dfalse’ in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame-Options’ to ‘deny’.
Tried in Chrome and Edge. I have a webmap in a Public group and have only two layers:
– One I created
– One of ESRIs standard basemaps
Got any ideas what the issue is or where I can start troubleshooting?
]]>I’m new to WP, so not quite sure which pieces of the puzzle I need to put together.
I need to pull together some combination of I think map plugin, list/table plugin, and outside web service integration. Looking for any recommendations on approach, good plugins, which services to use, best approach to config, etc.
The project:
Any ideas?
Best,
:)Ben
But any ideas how to find closes post objects to a given point using you plugin when you are on mysql 5.6?
ST_distance returns a distance in degrees which is not very useful and st_distance sphere is not available…
Any help is appreciated as I’d prefere not to have to build custom tables etc and I can do a great circle calculation using plain meta but it will be slow…

I’m looking to make a page with the same structure and functionality as this one: https://www.mapbox.com/maps/
I’m a strong-ish visual designer looking to make a compelling web experience by telling a story with GIS data. MapBox’s page, featuring a right-aligned sidebar with a left-aligned map that changes as you scroll down, is exactly what I want to do.
Can anyone here offer some creative solutions about re-constructing the functionality of this page with Themes, Plug-Ins, etc.? I’ve put together WordPress sites before but would appreciate guidance. Right now, I have Salient and MapBox to work with but will gladly purchase another Theme, Plug-Ins, etc. to recreate this without a lot of code.
Thanks!!!

]]>I want to start a blog that essentially shows photos, with comments, from different locations. I want the blog to have a world map dominating the page, with photos shown as pins on the map, so that the reader can drill into the map and click on the pins, which bring up the individual photos and comments. So, not really different from a custom google map. It can then have the individual entries below the map, and all the other usual widgets down the side – but I want the map to stay at the top of the blog.
Ideally, we could simply take a photo and upload a geo-tagged entry (eg from iPhone – the photos are not artistic ones) that would automatically get updated on the blog and map, although I accept that this might not be possible and I might have to manually add the location information.
I’d be grateful for thoughts and apologies again if the answer is obvious. Even a steer in the right direction would be useful… I haven’t started the blog yet and am open-minded on whether to self-host or not, so either version of WP is possible (or even a different blog platform).
Thanks.
