No images in result from Gmedia posts

I have been struggling with cover images in results. I get images from pages and posts, but not from Gmedia post? On my website you will find the search on the page “S?g I fotoarkivet”, and if you search for “Biblomst” you will se that it show images from posts, but not gmedia posts. Can anybody help?

I can make an access to all my settings, but I don’t think it is about settings or rights. But what then?

I’m looking for a way to watermark my images in GMEDIA Gallery. As far as I can see there is no addon that covers this. Is it still in the planning? What could I do to watermark the images in GMEDIA Galleries?

Latest gmedia plugin update brings up text message and paypal donation to help develop ukrainian. In principle, I don’t see any problem with it. Why not donate to help the developper in this crisis of war in Ukraine ?

This message cause trouble for my client who was thinking that the site was hacked.

Gmedia not playing video from share link

When using the “share” link to a video that’s provided by Gmedia, the link brings up a page that only displays a media player and does not play the associated video. I can direct link to the video and it works fine. The video is in the correct format (mp4).

I’ve installed and tried to use Gmedia on a prototype personal photography site. I’m an experienced (20 years) webdev and photographer (a lifetime!). Gmedia looked to be a good plugin with lots of capabilities, not least metadata support. However, there’s minimal documentation, just a few ‘use cases’, and support is non-existent. Zilch. Nada. Bubkes. The interface is less than intuitive, and uploading of photos often generates a “File is not an image” error when I know full sodding well that it is, having taken the photo myself and uploaded elsewhere. I’m giving up on Gmedia, sadly as I’ve uploaded a lot of photos to it and I’ll have to redo this, because it’s unsustainable and unreliable.

I post this as notification, not in any expectation of nonexistent support. I’ve just tried to upload a dozen JPG images to Gmedia. Some made it ok, 5 got the error “File is not an image” – D’OH!! Er, well, actually the files are images that I took with my own camera, and have uploaded to a printing service fine. I have edited their metadata so maybe that’s what Gmedia is choking on.

After much struggling with this plugin, I advise snappers to steer clear of Gmedia.

How to translate Read More for Gmedia Gallery ?

The button is Read More.
I try to translate by loco translate but I don’t find. So, how can I put my value instead of Read more ?

Upload video hangs

On the GMedia Add Media page, while I can upload photos and very small videos, I cannot upload larger videos. A file of 64Mb uploads to 13%, for example, before stopping. No error message is shown. I have tried Safari and Firefox. My server settings allow uploads to 500Mb – the administrator says it is a WP or plug-in issue. I read in another GMedia forum to try pressing the screen settings button, but cannot find any such button. I changed cache setting to 0, 24 and 50, but this does not affect the problem.
