[ECFG_calender_events] – Fails

We are using Divi theme – but the API etc, and soon as we put the code [ECFG_calender_events] and then save – the Divi just fails every time. Only when it uses the code? any ideas why? thx

Hi.

Great plugin – thank you – I saw massive improvements in my PAGESPEED loading.

I just have one problem. I normally see 20-40 EVENTS in Google Analytics as visitors leave my site via the “VIEWS THIS WATCH on EBAY” button.

Since loading CAOS 3 weeks ago I can see ZERO EVENTS in GA?

I am running MINIMAL MODE with “Capture outbound links?” selected.

Latest WP version 5.7.1 and latest CAOS 4.0.4

PS – all other basic ANALYTICS are reporting as normal

In the current environment and status of COVID-19 around the world, many events are being canceled, postponed, or moved to virtual formats. Google wants to show users the latest, most accurate information about your events in this fast-changing environment, and so we’ve added some new, optional properties to our developer documentation to help. These properties apply to all regions and languages. This is one part of our overall efforts in schema updates needed to support publishers and users. Here are some important tips on keeping Google and users up to date on your events:

Add the eventStatus property: Use this property to tell Google that the event has been canceled, postponed, rescheduled, or happening as planned. Learn more.
If your event is virtual, specify VirtualLocation for the event location and OnlineEventAttendanceMode for the eventAttendanceMode property.
Update Google when your event pages change: Provide a sitemap to Google, and keep the lastmod attributes up to date. If your site host generates your sitemap automatically, it’s taken care of for you.
We understand this is a very difficult and complex time for everyone. We hope you’ll help us update your events so that we can continue to be helpful and show the most up-to-date information for users. We’ve included resources below to help you get started.

It would be great if there was eventStatus, VirtualLocation, OnlineEventAttendanceMode and (longer omitted) Performer properties that we can fill either automatically or manually.

Local Events Markup / Schema

Is Time.ly planning to release an update that incorporates Google’s Local Events Schema / Markup? This would dramatically improve how our events get picked up and indexed in Google and would not be a very difficult implementation from the dev side.

I am currently doing this with my own sites, but the changes have to be restored with each update – which makes it a bit cumbersome. Would love to see it as a native feature and happy to volunteer collaboration hours to see it happen.

Conflict with Revolution Slider

for some reason my site breaks when I have both Google Calendar Events and the Revolution slider in one page,

I am presuming its a jquery conflict? Is there a solution for this? I really need to get both working together,

Not to confuse this with the Constant Contact Event Management, but Google Analytics allows for the set up of events like the clicking of a submit button. Does this plug-in provide support?

Destroys Google Events

Hey,

unfortunately your plugin destroys my outbound events. It comes from the Google analytics Plugin. There is a option to capture outbound links as events. But with the compression turned on it doesn’t work.
