But when I check inside of semrush, it’s showing they’re set to nofollow.
I spoke to semrush last night and they said even though it’s set to follow in the yoast seo plugin on wordpress when they check the code, it’s still showing nofollow
This page for example: https://neelamkaur.com/2024/04/22/another-podcast-for-lash-artists/
Semrush checked the , cURL and confirmed that a?nofollow
?the attribute is indeed implemented.
When I edit the blog post, scroll to the bottom to my yoast plugin, the section that says “allow search engines to show this content in search results” and it’s set to “yes (current default for posts)”
How do I fix this so my blog entries are showing up in google?
]]>So, her name appears on my site, she took a few photos and her name is in the alt.text and/or caption of the photos. But when googling her name there are photo results from my ooold blog posts which have nothing to do with her.
She uses Squarespace and I don’t know how well she has optimized her own site, but we still see no need for Google to link her name to my very old posts.
I have Yoast SEO but have not done any particular changes except for removing the redirection of url to attachment page (which I read somewhere might help?).
I am unfortunately a noob at this, and am not fully understanding what meta information might be mixed up in this issue, or why Google makes these associations…
]]>If you search [ redundant link removed ] on Google, you’ll see what I mean.
I’ve never had this issue with other WordPress sites I’ve managed, so not sure what I’m doing differently. I’m not using any SEO plugins, but I do have the Google XML Sitemaps and Classic Editor plugins going.
Any idea? Thank you!
]]>Everytime I update WordPress, it’s back to normal. But after a day or two it automatically changes.
What can I do to stop this?
]]>Google’s Structured Data Testing tool said, “Multiple reviews should be accompanied by an aggregate rating.”
Is there a shortcode I can use? Is there a setting for this?

]]>Note. I know how to change the Site Title and Tagline under the “customize” column.
What I want to change is the meta description of the entire site that shows up in google results, not of a specific page.
It currently looks like this:
Deborah Forman. Artist/Teacher/Author. Menu … Forman, Ultra Seiche, gouache on paper, 12 x 12 %22, $800. Built with Make. Your friendly small business site …
The client wants me to take out the “$800” part, which I assumed it picked up from one of her image file names. I have since deleted and re-uploaded all the images with new names, but it’s still showing the $800 price.
Help?

]]>I have installed your plugin and love the functionality, it works great. However the search results page for my theme is currently styled in it’s own particular way but I would like the results to show like the results do in google. Would anyone know how I could achieve this. I know the results are being generated with my search.php file but don’t know what to replace in order for the Google results page to show.
Here is what my search.php file looks like currently:
