This plugin is incredible, but also complex… I am importing Lightroom Keywords as tags, and that works really beautiful.

I have tried to also import GPS, but I do not see anything. My GPS is available in Lightroom. What to do?

Once working correct, is there an integration to Geo my WordPress plugin, so that the GPS is correctly located there without human intervention?

Also I am struggling with Title,Alt Title, Caption,Description. Where in Lightroom could I enter my description. They should not go in Caption, since this display lightboxes etc. So general advise, what everyone does is appreciated…

Please be specific Exif or IPTC and If you happen to share the code to call, That will be great.

GPS File Downloads

Hello,

I create Hiking Trail Guides on my WP site. I want to add a feature allowing the public to download GPX files. I get a security warning from WP telling me that isn’t allowed.

Is there a good fix for this? I don’t want to show a map of the trail, I want to offer the gpx file for download.

Is there a good fix or a reliable plugin for this to be possible?

reSmush.it is an awesome tool – shrinking images is huge for SEO and user experience.

Recently the feature to ‘preserve EXIF’ was added. Now that reSmush.it can write EXIF to the newly smushed images, I imagine it would be a small addition to write new GPS coordinates.

You may not know this, but GPS coordinates is a signal Google uses when building relevance for businesses – and the technical ability for a graphic designer to update the EXIF GPS coordinates on images is very little.

This would be a significant feature for the tool and put it ahead of all the rest of the Image Smushing tools.

I am trying to make tombstone location finder website where users in the frontend can add tombstone using their phone GPS and can add some details ( Name, photo, bio,..), the other users can search this website and get direction to any tombstone address using any of given details.
Can I use your plugin to do that? I will applicate any kind of help and thank you in advance.

How can I add pictures to the map?

Hello,
I would really like to use your plugin on my blog. But on the page I created there isn’t any button to add pictures to this plugin. How can I add pictures to the map?

I have the “Images with GPS Data on Maps”-Section on the buttom of the page and after that it says “0”.
I can also add the shortcode and it presents the Google Maps map on the preview page.

I’m already using a different plugin with pictures with GPS-Data on this blog, but I don’t really like the plugin, so it would be great to switch to yours. So I’m pretty sure, that there are pictures with locations available in the Media Library.

One more point, in the Settings it says:

“geoImgGPX administrieren
Ihr Server unterstütz EXIF-Applikationen zum auslesen von GeoDaten:
– exif_read_data() funktioniert und extrahiert GPS Daten aus den Bildern.”

Another revision, now that you can have end users submit their markers with an inexpensive add on- I’d add another star if I could.

I am revising my review, which was a 5 star, to remain a 5 star but with this note: The support for this plugin is outrageously good. Matthew Lau helped me until I was 100% satisfied and went way above and beyond to do so. Thanks Matthew and WP Go Maps – our map is an important part of our internet platform, and I’m so glad to have found your plugin to create and customize it. – Ben Moss

Is it possible to have a address field added to the Google Maps field. I need users to be able to either fill their address and or drag pin on map to narrow location.

I was looking for a solution to help me to communicate with my customers. I was receiving a lot of calls and couldn’t attend all of them. I tried other chatbots, but they were very limited and I always have to do the job myself. When I tried ccRobot I noticed it was a professional tool. Many plugins where already in place like calendar, gps, and input collection. It was easy to configure and I could manage different types of scenarios with in the same chatbot. The best is the solution highlight topics I should work on, so I am always on top of the questions of my customers.
