Making a query to retrieve a user’s grades for each course

Hello!

I’m trying to display a list of all the grades for each course achieved by the user.

I’d like to know the name of the db table in wich this data is stored, so I can make a query and display the information in the frontend. I’d like to develop a shortcode wich gets the current user’s ID, to get a list of the user’s enrolled courses and the grades for this course.

In case this isnt possible, I could use ACF to make a ‘student’s final grade’ field, but I’ would’ll need to know where to assign this field so I can retrieve this value later.

Any information on this topic, specially regarding db tables, is greatly appreciated.

I use GamiPress points and badges in a gamified high school classroom. We do our learning on a custom WordPress site nothing from this site is connected to our grade book. I’ve seen student motivation and engagement go to new levels when we disconnect learning from grades and implement gamification elements as well. I couldn’t do this without GamiPress!

When I create a course, and I want to check it how it looks, the coure shows me grades like “pass” or “fail”, even if I didn’t check any answer. In the course I did’n check any answer as correct and “Assessable” in unchecked too. How can I fix it?

Any way to collect all these grades into a grade book? I use WP to create courses for face to face classes, and students upload their work/projects as posts (up to 10 per semester per student), which I then comment & grade. I use this for many classes, but it would be very helpful to have all the grades from one class/site collected into a grade book that can assign final grades based on assignment weighting, as in Google grade book. I am trying to use this with Learnpress where I am creating new courses. I think this feat would be super useful to many others using the plugin either on a single WP course/site, or in LMS like Learnpress.

Any recommendations for Storing Grades

Hi there,
We’re using your plugin to manage access for students and teachers… and we need some way for Teachers to track attendance and grades. We were using wpDataTables but it’s overloading our database with hundreds of tables – and doesn’t always work very well.

We have excel sheets that we typically allow our teachers to just mark an “X” on the week, and leave a grade on the last column. We need some how to do this within our WP website and to store them.

Can you recommend a solution that would work well?

The private comment feature is extremely helpful.

I looked around for the settings after activation but could not find them…
Are there any?

I wanted to disable the Grade checkbox.
Also, just an idea that might be useful to others:
How about setting a default list of options to display as dropdown in the front end so commenters would not have to type?

One test with multiple results

Hi everyone,

I am creating a test with 40 questions. Is it possible to have one quiz but get 3 different grades sent when the student has done the test?

So for example I want the grade for the first 15 questions and then the next and so on.

But I don’t want the students needing to open a second test.

Any ideas / suggestions would be very welcomed

Adding links to Grade description.

Is there a way to use links in the grade description?
For instance, when the grade of “pass” is achieved, I want it to say “You can now move onto the next lesson.” for “next lesson” being a link to the next lesson available. Then, I can use %%GRADE DESCRIPTION%% for the results message.

Is that possible?
