I am very pleased with Imagify. The pricing is very attractive and I was skeptical a bit because lots of “cheap” image compression plugins lack in features or actual compression functionality. But that is not the case with Imagify. The other day I installed it a client’s pre-existing website build and was impressed by how much it was able to handle, considering the client’s website has over 900 images.

Ten years ago, to add watermark in photos used to be easy with some php snippets and htaccess in older versions of PHP and wp. Since it’s not possible anymore, I’ve tested a couple of watermark solutions and this plugin is certainly the best. Fast and flexible, it allows you to choose on which photos to add watermark, plus the watermarked file is saved with a good compression and no visual loss in images quality and you can restore the original images if you like.

However, it has some issues. I almost gave up the plugin because in the tests I ran on my localhost, it was adding a black square with the watermark or outputting bad watermark quality when I choose the no redimension option in order to avoid the black square. Despite the buggy behavior in the localhost, it worked perfectly in my live site. Curious thing is both localhost and live site were running php 8 and latest version of WP, so, I have no idea why it didn’t work in the localhost.

Anyways, this plugin has everything to be the best ever in watermark solutions and I hope you guys keep it alive. I have notions of PHP and would be happy to help you test and debug the next versions and updates of Easy Watermak.

Metaslider has proven a great solution for my websites. The trouble I had installing the second copy received amazingly-fast support from Mohammed. A combination of his guidance and changing a folder name took care of the problem.

Ultimately I’d love to see a slider that can do a full screen. However, I will say this is the cleanest slider plugin I’ve used. It is super easy to build slideshows and making changes is simple and auto-updates with no need to resave the page it appears on.

Highly recommend. Can only see this getting better.

I spent months trying to find a simple but effective solution to linking multiple websites together and enabling Single Sign-On Authentication. I am always surprised at the onslaught of login attempts to my new wordpress sites. They are ordinary in every way, but for some reason, login hacking attempts are in the dozens and dozens. This plugin stops them cold. I DO set the parameters to much longer times, so as to only get an email notification from the plugin only on the worst offenders. Because of this, I have learned which IPs should be blocked from the git-go. Great plugin. get it. Use it always.
