How do I change the header image on a theme? I’m using the green apples theme and want to change the apples to a different image but am a little lost on how to make that happen. Is it even possible?

How do I move text in comment field?

I use the Green apples theme, and in the comment field where my visitors type in name, e-mail and url the text “Name” “E-mail and “Url” is very far down. It looks like they belong to the line under. This is confusing of course, because it seems like name is suppose to be where the e-mail is, and the email where the url is. And the comment box itself “belongs” to “url”. Please take a look at my page if you can’t understand my crappy description.

I need to move “name”, “E-mail” and “url” one line up, so it’s clear what goes where, when my visitors try to leave me a comment. How?

I want my readers to leave name and e-mail in comments. But the lines seem to be messed up. The middle line (name) doesn’t work at all. And no matter what e-mail adress my readers try to use, wordpress/theme says it’s not valid. So i went to my CP and removed the “Need to leave name and e-mail”, and now everybody ends up being anonymous when they write name in the middel line (line for name). I changed mye theme to default and it worked fine. How do I fix this so I can continue using the pretty green apples theme?

Problem with Green Apples 2-row Menu Dropdown

I am very pleased with the Green Apples theme with one exception. I have enough pages requiring two rows at the top level and with several having dropdowns in the menu to daughter pages. I’m unable to navigate to the daughter pages from the top row because the mouse selects the top level page on the second row as I move to select one of those in the dropdown list.

I’m new to WordPress and CSS so please forgive me if the answer is obvious. I’ve been doing software since the mid 1960’s, trying for zero defects, in public safety and emergency response. I’m very excited about the power and flexibility which this platform provides.

The blog which has the problem is behind a barrier right now although I hope to release it very soon. I hope that the description is adequate but would be pleased to provide more information if requested.

Sorry, I’m a newbie to WordPress, please forgive my stoopid question:

I’m using the Green Apples Theme and it’s not showing the text of my Pages. I’ve added a bunch of text to each page but it only displays the page’s title..

How do I add padding to the content or increase the width of the left sidebar in the Green Apples theme, the text is overflowing into the gutter / column line separator.

Hi there,

I LOVE your theme!

I would like to install a video widget in the left sidebar.

First, I would like to WIDEN that left sidebar, and to compensate for that, make the middle column narrower (so, if I increase the left sidebar by 80px, I’d like to make the middle column 80px narrower).

I can’t find the code to do this.

Can you help?

Help a photographer customize “green apples” theme a little

Hi folks,

Here’s an intro. I’m moving my wordpress.com blog (https://saphoto.wordpress.com/) to my own server (https://saphoto.ca/blog/). I was quite happy with the look of my current blog but I realized I cannot use the same “rubric” theme. I tried a bunch and finally I like the theme “green apples” the best (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/green-apples).

PROBLEM 1
There’s one big problem with it which can be illustrated in this post I have made:

I post quite a large number of pictures in my entries, and as you can see half way through the post, it becomes BLACK all the way through the end. Can that be fixed easily?

PROBLEM 2
I would like to eliminate the empty space at the top above the tab “about”. Can that be done?

PROBLEM 3
I would like the header height to be smaller.

I’m new to this customization thing… am I asking for too much?
