Anyone know how to get the Twitter feature to work as in the screenshot of the theme (where it shows the blue twitter bird and green RSS feed – top of right column)

This happens when in a page, there is almost no content. If, for example, a page contains only “hello world!”, then up to some space in the page, the links in the sidebar are not clickable. If I copy and paste a lot of text, then magically all the links are active.

What can I do? I mean, what can I do, except putting some dummy text

I’m currently working on the localization of my wordpress theme Green Park 2 via gettext and POedit to make it available in the users native language.

As I’m really into performance optimization and fast rendering, I did all to make the theme as fast as possible (while still customizable) like css-sprites, reduced http-requests, a minimum of SQL queries etc.

Now I encountered that my theme in the localized version with __() and _e() is up to 3 times slower than the non-localized version (tested on one server with WP 2.7.1, same happens on a local installation)

Is the “speed issue” a known problem for localized themes? I couldn’t find anything regarding this issue in the forum (hopefully I used the right search parameters…)
