Hi,

The greeting message still appears even if it is disabled in the chat settings. This is bothering me because when the greeting message appears on a mobile phone then the chat plugin doesn’t let anyone scroll to the bottom until it disappears. Users need to wait for 30 seconds for it to hide automatically and then they can scroll.

Greeting message opens again and again

Using your plugin since long and love it. For some time i notice that the greeting message pops up again and again for the same user even its been closed. Once the user goes to other page or even refreshes the same page the greeting message comes again. That is not the case earlier.

How to solve this?

Hello, I’m having an issue with my greeting message.

When viewing the site on tablet/mobile the greeting message pops up and when I’ve selected to close, it keeps popping open afterwards. Is there a setting to stop this and also is there is some code I can use to get rid of the greeting message all together that would be great, especially for tablet and mobile-only!!

Disappointed about assistance and bug

I’ve installed and configured it and it work perfectly and i was very happy.
In one site i’ve had to change the greeting message so i’ve gone to advanced settings to change it and i’ve discovered that is impossible to open that section.
So i’ve thought that was a single problem for that site but i’ve tested all other sites on that i’ve installed the plug in and it there is the same issue.
So i’ve tried to uninstall the plug in and reinstall after to have removed all info about it via ftp and also searching on db tables via phpmyadmin ( i’ve also clearde server cache to be more sure )
When i reinstall the plug in it continue to mantain previous settings and also it is impossible to click the advanced settings.
I’ve tried to write via mail and also answering to an other post and there is no reply.
We are under holidays and for a plug in that work exactly for that i think that assistance must be more ready to assist.
I hope to can change my valutation and to solve the problem asap.

How to add a greeting message on page 1?

Hi there,

I wanna give a welcome message to my visitors, which includes my photo and some text saying something like “welcome to my website”. Ive done that by adding a simple HTML code to Main Index Template (index.php).

Now, the problem is that I want this message only to appear on page one when someone comes to my blog. Right now, when someone visits my website, he sees the greeting message, then five of my posts. If he wants to go on reading, he has to go to page 2, page 3 and so on. So, he goes to page 2 and there are 5 more posts. The problem is that the greeting message is still there on the top of the page.

How to make a greeting message to appear only in the first page? Is there a plugin or something?

Hello,
I’m wondering if there is a template tag or other way to create a greeting to site visitors after they have logged in. For example “Welcome Back NickName!” Where the nickname is the user’s.

I’ve looked through the list of tags but I don’t see any, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
