Use WP Grins SSL with bbpress visual editor

Hi ! I’m French, so, sorry for my bad English. I’m going to launch my communal website in a few weeks and I really need to offer visual smilies for my members on the bbpress’ visual editor. Could you add this very important fonctionality to your plugin or help me to bluid it on my forum.

smilies not working anymore

It appears that smilies are not working anymore in the latest version of WP (2.9.1). I use WP-Grins and now WP-Monalisa, but also tried WordPress Smilies, and what happens is, that when writing a comment, clicking a smiley takes you to the top of the page, instead of inserting it in the comment area.

Strange. Any ideas how to solve this?

Wp grins works on localhost but not on server

I have a local server (ie https://localhost; XAMPP) setup to do all my development before I upload everything to an external server. I installed wp grins on my local server, and it works. The click-able smilies come up under the textarea box for both comments and the admin panel. There is no difference between the local’s and the server’s files. They both have the comment id of “comment” and both call wp_head();.

How come it works locally but not on an external server?

The plugin works in the admin but for comments it only gives the tag but not the graphic.

hi I’m trying to change out the smilies on my wordpress, and I uploaded it into the /smilies folder, but now I have to find the page to edit all the smillie names & add more. :/ can anybody tell me which page it is? thank you!

i’ve instaled the plugin and i can see the smilies now. but there’s just one problem.

I know that in the post page the smilies are supposed to show as text like this but thats also how it shows after i publish the post. I cant see the smilies at all. why is that happening and how can i fix it plz?

I use More Smilies and I can’t get them to show up on my toolbar in Write Page. So I downloaded and uploaded the WP Grins plugin. Now I’m hoping someone can help me edit WP Grins so that my smilies from More Smilies can work with WP Grins, allowing me to click them and etc.

Or… if there’s a way to get More Smilies to show up in the Write Page, that’d be great. I tried selecting the option in Options, but after I save the options they become deselected again…

WP Grins 1.3 comments problem

I’m using WordPress 2.1 and the updated version (1.3) of WP Grins seems to work fine. But it doesn’t work with comments, I don’t know how to make the clickable smilies show up for commenters to use.
(I assume there must be a new code you can put in the comment form like the last version? The old code doesn’t work.)

Ok, well i installed wordpress grins on my site, and everything is working fine. exept when im typing my blog, or comment, it wont let me click on the smilies. I’ve re-installed it many times, but it wont work. Anyone know what to do? Thanks.

Hello,

I’v just switched to Mac and i’m using Safari. I really like it and i haven’t downloaded Firefox yet. That said, i do have some troubles with the layout
What could i edit to avoid th quicktags and the wp-grins to be “in collision”? Look at the screenshot here:
