please update it so it can do that. THANKS !

Thanks
]]>I’m running latest versions of CiviCRM and WordPress. I’ve set up a Membership Type (Membership A) in CiviCRM and a Group (Member) using the WP Groups plugin.
The description of this plugin says it works with the Groups plugin but I’m not seeing how that works. There is no option to add Civi Members to the WP Group I created when setting up the Association Rule for Membership A.
I assumed there would be a field to select which WP Group they should be added to.
How can I make it so that when the WordPress Member Sync occurs the created WP user also gets added to the Member WP Group?
Otherwise what do you mean when you say it works with Groups? Am I misunderstanding?
Thanks for the plugin, and for any help you can provide.
]]>I would like to structure monthly based on how many users and instances of a post type within a Group.
Example: Group A, has 6 users in the group, with 2 instances of post type Group Post. I’d like to bill a monthly recurring rate for 8 items. The payer would be the group owner, and if they add more users or posts to their group, payments adjust accordingly.
Thanks!
]]>i have been trying to create a capability for vendors in the groups plugin but there is no option for vendors in the entire list of capabilities, i have groups for woocommerce installed and wc vendors free. i’m trying to give a buyer of a certain product the vendor capability.
Thanks
]]>I just started using the groups plugin and seem to have trouble to make the [groups_can] shortcode work.
I am trying to exclude a page section for some user groups, while they keep being visible for others.
When trying to exclude one single page section within a page that is viewable to all groups, this works perfectly find using the shortcode for groups
[groups_member group="Registered"]
Only registered members can see this.
[/groups_member]
I am placing the shortcode opening and closing before and after the page section like this:
[groups_member group="test"][mk_page_section full_width="true"][vc_column][mk_fancy_title style="avantgarde" size="25" font_weight="bolder" text_transform="capitalize" font_family="none" align="center"]
Test Text within the page section
[/mk_fancy_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/12"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][/groups_member]
When trying the same thing using the [groups_can] shortcode it does not work. As far as I understand this should do the same thing but not restricting certrain groups directly, but groups that do not posess the capabibility set with this shortcode. I integrated the shortcode like shown below, but when applied it does not restrict access and I can see the commands [groups_can capability=”manage_plugins”] and
[/groups_can] written on the published website like they were actual content to be seen by users.
[groups_can capability="testcapability"][mk_page_section full_width="true"][vc_column][mk_fancy_title style="avantgarde" size="25" font_weight="bolder" text_transform="capitalize" font_family="none" align="center"]
Test Text within the page section
[/mk_fancy_text][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width="1/12"][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/mk_page_section][/groups_can]
Please let me know if you know what I am doing wrong or if you have similar experiences using the [groups_can] shortcode. Also please let me know if you nee further information or input.
Im working on an intranet using wordpress, developing the site locally, it is not online so I cannot send you a link, but I am happy to provide screenshots where needed.
Looking forward to your input, thanks

]]>Here is my setup and my questions…
The Main site is for general public, so no restrictions will added for those pages, and therefor they won’t need a group assigned to them.
So the ‘members’ wanting to access a ‘members only’ area will have to login. How does the login work? Are they meant to login through wp-admin? Or am I supposed to create a login page myself?? (And if so.. how will that work????)
Ok, so once they are logged in.. it appears that all are automatically added to the registered group, right? I can give the registered group the rights to view the main ‘members only’ menu page (that will have links to each of the more restricted members pages.)
I want the heirachy like this:
So the ‘registered’ uses can only see the members-only menu page. Then the ‘cub scouts’ group can see the menu page, and it’s own scout page. Then the ‘cub parents’ can see the menu page, scouts page and their own parents page, etc..
So I will have 5 groups. Will each group have the ‘groups_read_post’ capability assigned? I tried creating the groups each with ‘groups_read_post’, but also their own capability name (eg: cub scouts had a ‘cub-scout’ capability created and assigned). Is this how I am supposed to do it?
So on a test page, I tried to use the ‘access restrictions’ section on the page. When I clicked in the top box, it only allowed me to select one capability: ‘groups_read_post’. (Is that because that is the only default standard capability I gave to any of the groups?) When I clicked on that capability, the box showed this: “groups_read_post(Registered, Cub Scouts, Cub Parents, Cub Leaders, Committee)”. So how does that work? If I wanted this page to only be accessible by the Group Leaders and Committee members, it doesn’t appear to let me split that out?
I am totally confused!!!! I am obviously not setting this up correctly.
Is there a YouTube tutorial out there by chance.. that walks you through a complete set-up (from start to finish) with several children layers, and several pages being restricted by different groups, so I can see how it all comes together???
At this point, I just want the groups to view the page they are allowed to see, and maybe upload and download some files. (Which I hope to be able to do with the ‘File Away’ plugin).
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!

]]>“Sorry, the content you’re trying to view is for Members only. Please Login or Register in order to view this page.”
With Groups, all of my protected pages show 404 errors.
1. Is this how Groups works out of the box?
2. If so, how can I fix this?
Thank you.

]]>It seems the links “older entries” and “previous entries” are built before the filter on capabilities is executed, when the loop has already done its job.
For example:
This is not what I expected: the user should see 10 posts in home, and 1 in second page…
There are extreme cases in which all the posts in a page are filtered, and I only see an empty page.
I use the theme twentytwelve at the moment, and I build the pagination in this way:
<?php wp_pagenavi(); ?>
Also I tried the plugin WP-Navi but nothing changed…
Do you have any hints?
I hope my problem is clear…
Thanks!
