Litespeed cache not working?

Hi.

First of all 2 words about the new WordPress site interface, it took me 30 minutes to figure out just how to log in, this says it all.

Now, my main question about the plugin.
Recently I switched to Hostinger host which uses LiteSpeed servers and the Litespeed cache plugin comes preinstalled on every WordPress installation.
Originally I used WP Rocket, but I had the opportunity to try this free plugin.
I did not have much time to configure it properly and I just tried all preinstalled plans, including the extreme settings as they are by default.

But, I’m afraid that there was no caching at all, how else could you explain the 32-34 seconds that my site took to full load on the Vancouver server in GT Metrix? Can you explain this?, I mean this sounds ridiculous, and remember I use CDN.

Now the site is back to WPRocket and takes 2-3 seconds to load giving an A performance grade and all Core web vitals green( despite the AdSense scripts which make it very heavy, and despite that the Adsense scripts are not delayed!)

Litespeed, after all the reviews I have read, was an unbelievable disappointment unless I am missing something.

Just wondering if someone would be able to provide some advise. I am working on trying to improve the speed of my website and have done the common things that are suggested. However, my site is still slow. According to GT Metrix under the waterfall option, I have an initial waiting time of 1.1 secs. Any idea what I need to do to reduce this?

Hello,

I have JS minified, combined, combined external and inline, and deferred. Also, in tuning settings from exclusion′s box I have removed the following options to avoid being listed:

jquery.js
jquery.min.js

however, when I run GTMetrix says that this Jquery resource is render-blocking:

I installed your plugin and it works fine, but from a GT Metrix scan I notice dozens of on “Waterfall”. How is the plugin possible? I currently use both Wp-Optimize and SgOptimize with site hosted on Siteground.

I have been trying all the optimize plugins to make my site faster, but I was always running into problems with speed even though GT Metrix was showing my site speed all in the green, but the actual load times were not converting. Until, I downloaded this plugin, and my actual load time on my phone and computer was Amazing with a capital A. I also showed even more impressive GT Metrix scores than I did before. I Before Phast Press, I was begging for any solution I could find, but now I am rocking and rolling with reputable speed and loading. The maker of this plugin is Top Tier. How can I thank them enough for this game changer.

Great plugin, big difference in scores when using it in a very positive way, although there is always place for improvement. I already have a fair score on GT Metrix:

But I see some points where Autoptimize maybe can improve, but I have no idea how?

I see in waterfall timeline AO scores 453.2 and in Yslow it is not cookie free and minify css, minify javascript etc.

Maybe it can improve the speed even more?

I am sorry to barge wordpress forums with Gt-Mterix queries but the waiting time is not resolving I have tried everything from changing the cache plugins to deleting some plugins still no help.
Can anyone please help me to correct this.
I am On litespeed servers using litespeed cache, but Changed it with W3total cache thinking of problem from LS CACHE But the problem is not going.

Image resize and GT Metrix

Hello there,

GT Metrix says my site is slow, and I got an F for “optimize images.” So I started deleting the images GI Metrix said could be reduced in size, made them a lot smaller and then uploaded them again. For example,

I deleted ImageA.jpg, which was 1200 x 800 with resolution 300, and replaced it with ImageA-2.jpg, which is now 900 x 600 with resolution 72, 90kb (before ulopad). And since many of them identified by GT Mettix were the ones I used as thumbnails, I reduced those to 300 x 300…about 30kb in file size.

After I replaced a dozen images I ran GT Metrix again. ImageA-2.jpg is still considered the one that needs optimization. So here are my questions:

1) Is a image 900×600 with resolution 72, about 90kb still too big?
2) Do images on website require very specific kind of optimization which I am not aware of? Just reducing the size is not enough?

Just FYI, I just changed media setting>file sizes to zero because the images had been radically shrunk when I uploaded them, which was making them look awfully small and poor quality. (This is not in relation to GT metrix issue above)
