What warranty comes with Complianz in regards being compliant with the law?

While all the law around GDPR and other regulation around Websites seem to be overwhelming, tools like Complianz come in handy, but they also come with a price.

My questions are:
How is the liability of Complianz in case there would a “cease-and-desist orders” for not being compliant with any of these laws which should have been satisfied with the supplied legal documents and the promise of being “Compliant in multiple regions”.

Does Complianz hold a bond or any kind of insurance in case a client faces charges, which should have been avoided by using this service?

I know, this is a difficult topic, because a clients site also could get fined for things outside of the control of Complianz and the service offered. So how is this handled, where are the terms for such scenarios?

They offer no guarantees. If you upgrade to the pro version to really try the plugin and see all of it’s capabilities you do so at your own risk. Maybe it’s great for sites that simply have articles and content, but it does not work well for business sites that have other functions built into them, it will break.

What’s even worse, they have not offered to remove my card data from their database, and I do not want an annual subscription because it simply does not fit our needs. We would never have known if we had not tried it.

Support answers are delayed at least a day, so if you need quick answers the support for the pro version isn’t worth it either.

I feel like all of these 5 star reviews are bogus.

Many other providers offer a least a 30 day risk free trial. We only used it for TWO DAYS, and they will refuse to refund your money. There’s no way we would have known this would break our site unless we actually tried it. Money down the drain and time wasted. Disappointing.

Hi. I’m still not sure about the purchase, here are two questions:

– Can I compose a page where 100 images (for example) are displayed in the central part and in a lateral column the key words or labels of these same images, to facilitate the search of the visitors of my online image store? If the answer is affirmative, please tell me where I can see this example.

– In the event that I decide to buy the plugin, will I have a guarantee period in which I can make or configure the necessary tests with all the characteristics of the plugin and if I am not satisfied I can go back to the purchase?

I’ve been using Yoast’s free SEO plugin for several years and finally upgraded to the premium version. I wish I had upgraded right away. This is worth every penny. Yoast makes SEO so easy. They analyze your website and suggest keywords. They let you know how “good” your SEO is for each page and post, showing you in real time if it gets better (or worse) as you edit the page and the SEO. The documentation is great. I haven’t needed the support that comes with premium yet. Not sure if I will since the suggestions and documentation are so thorough, but it’s great to know that support is there if I need it. I highly recommend getting Yoast SEO. If you question getting Premium (don’t!) go ahead and start with the free version. It gives you plenty of fabulous tools. But if you want to step up your SEO and you’re in this for the long-haul, I strongly recommend Premium. (They have a 30-day money-back guarantee anyway. So why not try it out?)

Trying to find an agreement acceptance plugin

Hi,

I am looking for a way to do a page (or box) that new members have to accept the agreement and their acceptance will be recorded.

I found the “guarantee box” plugin but it is outdated and wont work with 4.4.2

What im looking for specifically is to be able to have a page or box that says I promise i will never do this or that and i will never violate my oath. And then they agree to it and their acceptance is recorded.

What i thought about doing at first is just doing a post and then have them agree by typing “i agree” in the comments to accept the pledge. But that is kinda hokey to do and it would not look right. It would look like a work around.

Any ideas would be appreciated
