Is it possible / how to change so my users only can predict max 1 digit guess on the soccer games, sometimes they wants to write ie 3-1 but by a mistake they write 31-1, so to avoid these human mistakes, i want to be able to change guess to max one digit guess’s
I wonder in future releases if its possible to have a page with an overview of the guesses people made on serveral matches after all questions was closed on the same date – and after i (admin) have inserted the correct result, it will highligt the correct answer on the above page?
something like this: (this is in danish)
https://ibb.co/wW6SpQG
Which i have to do manually, create, insert percent answers from each question guess’s and after each match indicate with ** which one was the correct answer of what all users guess upon before the match.
but i dont know if that is possible to do a new page like this or perhaps it makes more sense to put somthing like this under the “stats” page for people to see if a “match result” is a “surprice or not comparred to what the majority of people guessed before the match….
And the same goes for the guess people made on the team they think would win ie World cup or whatever, something like this:

]]>I’ve never posted a ‘suggestion’ for WordPress before. I’ve worked in Drupal and the system of bugs/suggestions is different. So if someone can suggest a better way to start this conversation, I’m all ears.
I would like to be able to add a filter to redirect_guess_404_permalink() so that it can be replaced or the sql query it generates be controlled.
I frequently have sites with multiple taxonomies where various posts will have the same slug. When visitors type in just the slug (without the full path ie. /taxonomy-prefix/slug) they expect to be directed to the most popular post_type.
But this function allows for no control over the ORDER of the returned posts. So if you have 5 posts all with the same slug, basically you have no control over which ‘guess’ will be returned.
There should be a way to modify this function so that it prioritises certain post_types. This could be done either by adding a filter to canonical.php to allow for replacing this function or by adding a filter inside redirect_guess_404_permalink() so that one can alter the SQL statement in the query.
How do I submit a proposed change such as this for review?
TIA.

]]>From some time ago I was using Limit Login Attempts plugin (https://devel.kostdoktorn.se/limit-login-attempts) wich reports me every blocked ip address that was guessing passwords on my site. You can bet 99% of times admin was the username bots are attacking, but this time I find that some ip from France was trying to brute-force a custom username, one created by me that its not public in any way.
Since this is happening at an special site wich I modified to not include any mention to the posts’s authors (removing things like meta property=”article:author” for example) I wonder how this is possible. Anyone can tell me wich knowns methods are available for guessing a WP username and could they can be mitigated?
]]>Now the code behind it I can do in Javascript, C, C++, anything like that. But how can I implement this using the wordpress systems, or is there any plugins (free or paid) that I can use to implement this type of system.
Thank you for any help with this.
