ACF field groups are now located on the sidebar

Hello, I recenlty updated my WordPress version to 6.7.1 as well as ACF to version 6.3.11 and I noticed that when adding custom fields to custom gutenberg blocks (using server side render) it now renders a preview on the editor body and the fields are located now on the sidebar the same way block attributes do, wondering if that is a new feature by WordPress or ACF plugin and if we can somehow change it to be like it was where the fields group appeared in the Editor body.

Our website works just fine using standard Woo checkout widget in Elementor Pro. Since the new upgrade to v 2.0 of this plugin, everything breaks. I reverted to 1.0.12 and it works again, but your plugin keeps upgrading automatically. I have auto updates disabled for this plugin in the WP dashboard, plus I added
define( 'AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED', true );
to our wp-config file, yet your plugin still automatically updates.

HOW CAN I DISABLE YOUR UPDATES or
WHEN are you planning to release a page builder-friendly version of the plugin?

Since the new plugin 2.0 is configured for using WP Gutenberg Blocks, it’s not compatible with Elementor or Elementor Pro at the moment, without using additional plugins.

WordPress add/edit post not working

Hi,

I don’t know when it happens but when I try to edit a page/post or add a new page/post that relies on Gutenberg blocks I have a white screen. Please see the screenshot for clarity.

I have tried changing the version of WordPress to a previous one but not working. At the moment the website is on the latest version. The debug is not showing any problems.

Can you please help with this?

Search Block Functionality on Responsive Mobile/Tablet

Hi,

I am building a site using 2024 theme and core blocks and some third party blocks. My Header design is Site Logo on the left, Navigation Menu and Search bar on the right. I have decided to only keep the Search icon (magnifying glass) on Mobile/Tablet view. But on Mobile/Tablet view, when I click on the Search button, the text box slides left, pushing the hamburger menu and both of these drop down below the site logo. From all the option for the Search block, it seems there is no way to either make the text box drop down below the magnifying glass icon (like in many Classic themes) or to put an overlay on the Hamburger icon without pushing it or open an overlay screen like the Navigation Menu does when we click on the Hamburger icon. I can put the Search Block inside the Navigation Block so it open in an overlay but I want the Search Block outside the Navigation block so users know there is a Search button.

How do I go about achieving this cos the current design breaks the UI/UX.

I am doing this on Local WP, so can’t share the site link.

Missing Gutenberg and Bricks Widgets

I can see those useful custom widgets for elementor at https://wdesignkit.com/browse/widget but does your claimed gutenberg and bricks widgets will be available soon?

We want to try gutenberg version of those ready widgets. Does existing The Plus Addons foe elementor user will help us anyway in getting pro widgets?

Where are Patterns persisted?

Hey all. I struggled with a recent update which stopped WordPress working altogether. I don’t think that issue was related to the theme, but I could no longer log in at all. The error logs were not much help either, so I proceeded to wipe most of the install and started again which seemed the quickest way to solve it.

The issue with patterns arose when I grabbed the data from the old WordPress, the patterns weren’t backed up with the rest of the site’s data. They are pretty crucial as they are used for maintaining some sub-links and mentioning where I got permissions from and linking to some books which I hope will provide a tiny bit of income eventually. I’m pretty confident navigating the files and DB, but I can’t see where patterns would be stored. By the word “patterns” I mean when you select a number of blocks and you group them together into a pattern which can be reused on other pages. I’ve been looking through wp-includes, but with no success so far. I also couldn’t see them in the options table.

Gutenberg slideshow block not rendering with custom infinite load posts

I’m encountering an issue with the Jetpack Gutenberg Slideshow Block in WordPress.

When I use a custom AJAX function to implement infinite scrolling and load more posts dynamically, the Slideshow Block isn’t rendering properly in the newly loaded posts.

The load more posts works perfectly for loading standard post content, but any post containing a Jetpack Slideshow Block fails to display the slideshow correctly. Instead, it just shows the raw block markup without the slideshow functionality.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or have any suggestions on how to ensure the Jetpack Slideshow Block initializes correctly after an AJAX call on success? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
