I have a wordpress site page at https://petcoach.sg/courses/
The site is configured to have one H1 Element — Group Dog Training Classes

However, in the HTML element structure, we can clearly see another H1 Element for Courses alongside the one for Group Dog Training Classes

I would like to remove the H1 element that has value Courses because this is affecting how Google understands my site when it comes to SEO.

Do you have any idea where I should look next to find and remove this phantom element?

So I created this news website and is trying to optimize its On-Page SEO.
One of the problems reported by my SEO tools is that some of the news article I posted has Title Tags that are too long.

Now, I do want the H1 Heading in the article to be that long, and the slug for the URL is still acceptable per my SEO Tools. I just need to edit the Title Tags to be a little shorter. However, I cannot find a way to adjust that under “Edit Post” Page.

I have 175 pages that has this On-Page SEO issue. So any advise on how to ONLY edit the Title Tags without modifying the slug and the H1 tag would be much appreciated.

So the questions are, why the developers did it? Any particular reason? And how to get it back for those who want to have H1 on all the pages.

The source code has the expected heading

but it also has
<input type=”hidden” id=”_ajax_linking_nonce” name=”_ajax_linking_nonce” value=”3b13d3395f” /> <h1 id=”link-modal-title”>Insert/edit link</h1> (this is on line 2860)

How do I get rid of the second h1 tag as it is screwing up the SEO?

ahrefs points out that some of my pages have 2 H1 headings. 1 H1 is the website title and the other H1 tag is the article title. I’ve also manually checked this with Inspect / F12 and it is true that the ahrefs flagged articles have these 2 H1 tags.

I think the normal thing is to have the article title as the H1 tag and not the website. So, how can I remove the website title from coming up as H1?

I’m using the Foodica theme.

Recently I am using your WordPress theme, it’s nice and attractive. when I check with the SEO analysis part, I have an issue.

H1 tag for website title and h2 tag for post titles. so all the post titles for the h2 tag. so it severely affects the SEO. as per my knowledge posts name want to be H1 ….. please clarify this situation?

The theme seems to be using the sitewide title for H1 tags rather than the page title.
This means that my site is being punished in Google as it uses the same content for every page.
