Is it possible to leave ratings of 4.5 stars (instead of having to give 4 or 5 stars)?

Thanks for the plugin.

Half stars are not shown on my website. I tried both to enable/disable “Enable half stars” in “Rating Widget Settings”. Could be something related to decimal separators “.” or “,”?

How can I change the “Editor’s Choice”-stamp so that it will be in German language?

Also it will be very helpful for me if you add half stars for the rating.

HALF STARS NOT SAVING

I did a little more testing. I have 4 multisets saved. When I enter any criteria with 1/2 stars then I select another multiset then immediately go back to the one I justed entered and select it the 1/2 gets stripped off. If I then re-enter the 1/2s correctly and do the same thing when I go back they save. IT ONLY STRIPS IT OFF ON THE INITIAL ENTRY, NOT ON REPEATED ENTRIES.
I then entered some criteria on another multiset in the same post and went back to my original multiset and selected it. It was still saved correctly. But when I open the 2nd multiset it strips off the 1/2 stars again on the second multiset. I reenter change MS and come back on the second entry the 1/2 stars are saved. IT APPEARS THAT THE 1/2 STARS ONLY GET STRIPPED OFF ONT THE FIRST ENTRY.
Very odd. Any clue what is causing this?

Allow half stars for ratings

Hi, plugin is working great and no problems. However my client would really like for visitors to be able to vote using half stars. (.5 stars, 1 star, 1.5 stars, 2 stars and so on.)

I have seen from other people asking about this that the plugin is not designed to do this. Would it be possible to donate for you to add the feature as an option in the settings screen?

If so, please let me know how much. I have seen several people wanting this in just the past couple of months in the forums here so it seems it would be a popular option.

Hello,

I was using Author hReview but I had no results with search engines and all the searches doesn’t have rich snippets attached with the results. Maybe, is something I have missed but I decided to change of plugin now…

I have looked for many plugins and this is what I liked the most. I also tried with Google Structured Data Tool and the results were very good because it adds the essential information for each type of post… But I think the plugin can improve a little more, at least for Reviews posts, about rating options…

Now, the plugin only allows to rate with entire numbers, from 0 to 5 stars. So when I preview with Google tool I have 5 stars images with “Rating: 5” written. The image shown and the message written are redundant and are not specific! If I, as editor, rate it 4, I will have 4 stars with “Rating: 4” written and so on, taking the space of search engine results page!

If possible, it would be good idea to allow to set 0.0 to 10.0 numbers. Then, for example, I put number 1.3 but the image in the search engine rounds to 1 star and half. The end result would be a more appealing data that should perform better in search engines (I think it is the main reason why people want rich snippets?)

Well, this is only a suggestion, if somebody is reading this please provide me some feedback, so at least I can know if this feature will be on the future list.

Can't use half star ratings

I am using the software reviews feature of the plugin and there are many scripts (which I am reviewing) that I want to give 3.5 stars, 2.5 stars, 4.5 etc. but I can’t seem to select half stars. I should mention that I am using this plugin as an addon to the inbuilt rating functionality of the InReview theme from Elegant Themes. I am not sure if there is some sort javascript conflict going on.

I’m using the Universal Star Rating plugin and it works great except when I want to insert an half star. For example 4,5. I’m using this short code [usr=4,5] and it displays 45 instead of 4,5. Do you have a solution for this problem? Thanks in advance!
