They then looked at the site again and saw that the database was still set to http and I needed to contact the developers of the theme.
I am really, really hoping there is a way to fix this because losing all of my comments would be devastating, and to lose my ranking as well.
Please advise! Thank you!
]]>$exp->export('my-form', array('show' => 'name,email', 'search' => 'Mike'));
I was wondering if there is a way to make the search criteria variable from a specific input field value on the contact form? So not hard-coded (in this case ‘Mike’) as in above line of code.
]]>I am working on a site which has been built from the ground up using hard coded PHP and every page has its own template.
I never built the site and making changes can be a nightmare working out how its been built, however the latest problem is the comments box.
The site is pastpleasures.co.uk
Now, there is a blog on the page.
Allow comments is switched on in all areas, the writing page settings are correct. The comments code is in the PHP within the single post .PHP
I have even tried to add a different post plugin, and it still doesn’t show.
Any advice would be appreciative.
Thanks
]]>For one of my websites, the content of front-page.php is hard-coded into the page file itself (the visual editor for the page inside the WP Admin area is blank).
The SEO score for that page is pretty poor, because it thinks it has no content. Does this reflect reality? The content actually does exist, I’m just wondering if the way I’m doing things for my homepage is a bad idea. There are lots of different content areas on the page, and I actually had a lot of errors when I tried to just paste the html into the editor.

]]>here’s my url:
dev.cinemoves.com
I’d like the search bar to be flush against the right bottom border of the image. instead of slight to left like it is currently.
would anybody what files to look in for the hard coded parts?
what I want:
element.style {
left: 780px;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
what it is:
element.style {
left: 519px;
position: absolute;
top: 0;
}
Not sure which line to delete.

]]>I recently noticed that a website that we host using WordPress has links to the old website which will be down anytime soon. So for example:
My webserver = web01.domain.com
Old webserver = web01.previoushoster.com
The links in my sql database ( phpmyadmin ) are still to the old domain. So all the picture will be loaded from the old webserver. This is obviously wrong. I thought well why not opening all pages and change it manually until I found out it where 1400 links…..
Dohhh :-X
So what I did was exporting the sql database and opened it in a text editor and find replace everything.
However, this is very highly to not work due to user error….
I already read some Sql injections which could be used in phpmyadmin to change it or in function.php
Can anyone please explain me in layman terms of how to achieve my goal as the internet is talking in more advanced form.
