Update Broke My Site

I’ve chosen the above page as an example, this problem applies to all pages and posts not built directly from an Elementor template. – Note I have fixed the posts by changing the post template – Suboptimal but its a fudge fix!

Yesterday I had a site that was more or less how I wanted it, then I woke up to an email that WordPress had forced an update on my site without notification or warning, the reason that the update was not done was because (in a staging environment!) I found that the update broke the site!! Imagine my joy therefore when I woke this morning to a broken live site!

The problem is the header section is missing, Title, fetured image etc etc, in an attempt to fix it I have tried all the stock elementor templates, the only one that fixes the problem has a side bar – I dont want side bars on the pages. I have changed the theme – no different, All plugins are up to date except Elementor – It breaks the site with the elementor update – Proved in staging! I am using the “reponsive theme” latest version – udated today post this avoidable calamity

How do I fix the problem or roll back the update – The site is live so all this is incredibly suboptimal! How do prevent a forced update from happening again?

Why would anyone think it is a good idea to force an update onto a live site? A day of my life gone.

Last-Modified Header Missing

From the date, I started using Litespeed cache plugin, the last-modified header went missing. Even I checked the .htaccess file in the file manager but I can’t see any rule to add last-modified header.

Please help me fix this issue because it clearly seem that the issue is Litespeed cache related.

Aggregate JS-files Removed Header

Hello,

I am using your plugin. However, when I tick the ‘Aggregate JS-files Removed Header’ option it removes my header and menu bar when on mobile.

I saw a similar post and I tried ticking the ‘Add try-catch wrapping?’ option but this did not resolve the issue.

If I don’t have this ticked, my site is incredibly slow so I would love the help.

Header Disappeared

I could use an extra set of eyes on this. Yesterday, pulled up my site to discover the header is just gone! Tried turning off all plugins, to no avail. HELP! PLEASE!

Header No Longer Visible on Home Page

The header on our homepage is no longer visible. It seems to happen regardless of the theme we are using. We should have a header with website name, a few menus, a button, and a search icon.

The header is visible on the remaining pages of the website but not on the Home page.

I am seeing this issue on Codify, Neve, and Twenty Twenty Theme. The settings for header under Customize Appearance all seem to suggest that the header should appear.

I figured out everthing but not able to see how to set header for category page.
Tried theme options nothing worked..

hello,
there is an issue with the header and event pages.
it shows the calendar when a user clicks on a specific calendar and doesn’t show the single event content. I tried to change the template to another template instead of “Default Page Template” to “Default Events Template” or “Blog Template. So, it doesn’t show the entire header on events calendar page when I change the Event templates to something else but it shows the content on single page. Please advise.

Storefront header vanishes when elementor footer template is applied

Hi.

I’ve build a footer template from one of the build-in ones in elementor and set the conditions to ‘all pages’ but when I apply the footer it makes the header vanish from all pages. when I set the footer to ‘draft’ the header comes back.

My header (and theme) is Storefront with some styling.

Help?

Header dissapeared from page

I had a header with main menu and top bar from OceanWP on my website and it just disappeared yesterday. When I go to customize, header is set and enabled, and on each page header is also enabled.

The only thing I did yesterday was activating Elementor PRO and building footer with their theme builder. However, I never touched any options for header. Any idea why is that so? Thanks!
