Also, I am unable to simply remove the header so I can add a new one from Elementor. There’s no way to remove it too. I am using the latest version of WP and OceanWP theme. Please help, thank you.
]]>I just started testing Bento today and love it so far, especially the page builder.
There is just one issue which I cannot find how to solve: between the header and the slider of my page, there is that pretty high second header which I would like
a) to make thiner
b) to be able to change the background color
c) change typo and font color
The work in progress can be found here: https://pictures.pattymackz.com/wordpress/
Is this something possible?
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Gerald
I have been searching high and low for a way to reduce the size of the header image showing up on the site
It suggests dimensions of 2400×1600 but when I look through the CSS I am not seeing anything I would be able to update, and not familiar enough with CSS to figure out what to write, to achieve what I am looking for.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
]]>Yet I suspect one of these changes is affecting why I cannot get the subsequent sizes I wish on this. I’m able to mess around with padding/margins still, but I’m trying to make it thinner (less height) and smaller logo & Nav menu, but none of these CSS additions to the section or individual components or columns seem to do the trick… must I edit the .js or .php again, which are already affecting the Header itself?
The guide also suggested added an HTML section under the header (main) section itself, though only for temp purposes and was instructed to remove after, as the .js and .php would carry it header’s behavior theme-wide. I didn’t understand this part, but wonder if this helps illustrate my issue any more. The HTML has since been removed and the up-scroll-sticky still remains intact.
]]>How do I change or remove this?
The only way I can get rid of it, is to remove the option of having the blog on the initial page. I’d like the keep this function if possible.
Or do I need a different theme?
The addy at the moment is https://cb1.5a1.myftpupload.com
TIA.

View it on a mobile device or resize your browser window down to different sizes like a tablet size or cell phone width on desktop and you will see the header slider no longer fills the full space.
When we tried to fill the image in the space it would create scaling and this version doesn’t completely fill the container.
Ideally the image height would match the container height no matter the screen size and the image would just get cropped off in the margin and hide any overflow image width. We do not need 100% of the image width showing at all times on smaller screens.

]]>I’d appreciate some help finding the header dimensions in the CSS. This theme has limited my header dimensions to 500×52 and auto-crops my image. I’d like to make the new dimensions 1265×110 so that I can fill the entire header bar with a landscape image.
Thanks so much in advance!

How can I update the height and width of the custom header image?
Preferably, I would like to have the height at 100px
Thanks!
]]>So I am not the greatest at coding and may be a little computer illiterate but I try. I uploaded a custom header image that is 325×90 and when i view the page its ballooned up and skewed. I adjusted custom-header.php from width 2000 and height 500 to 325×90 and nothing changed. Not sure what else to try.
Also I would like to move the navigation menu from the right side of the page to the left. From searching I discovered to change some “floating” option from right to left, but it only moved it a little bit over.
I am using the Formation theme and my website is jpperformance.net(still under construction, and I’m new to this so go easy please!)

Thanks,
Jake
P.s. I’m just guessing on which version of WP I have installed. It was installed from my host provider so the 2.8.5 is just a guess.
