]]>I have been using the Sydney theme for WordPress for ages and maybe this has never bothered me before, but I am really struggling with the header on the tablet and mobile view.
My issue is really simple and I am questioning if I set up something incorrectly or if it is a function missing? If you look at my home page on the website mentioned I would like the header slider to also fill the entire screen when on tablet or mobile and not just parts of it. Same as with the desktop view basically. I really dislike not having the possibility to change this the way I described. Secondly, if I navigate the menu, let’s see to the page “Bio” I get a black header and underneath the header image on mobile and tablet. Especially in tablet it uses up like half of the screen and is not only ugly, but also highly unpractical. Maybe my settings are wrong, who knows. I am just asking if you could please help me to fix those issues.
But, credit where credit is due. Besides those two few issues I have been loving the theme for years and appreciate all the great work you are doing. Thanks for that!
Best Regards

]]>I have a little problem with with wonderful theme Sydney – it’s mostly the parts I can? change with elementor – header slider and footer.
The slider is not looking good on mobile in any form (responsive or not) and the footer makes too long gaps betweeen wingets.
Is there any way to make them pretty? Thank you very much.
Jane.
]]>I am a newbie and trying to work on my website, and I need your help with the header of Illdy Child theme.
In the jumbotron section I can have a slider as a type of the background with more pictures instead of 1 background image, but only 1 title/1 entry/1-2 buttons for all the slides showing under these.
I would like (if that is possible) to have lets say 3 slider images with different 3 titles/3 entries/3 buttons showing up, and maintain the parallax effect.
Is that possible, and how can I do that?
I would really appreciate your help with this.
P.S. I have made a slider with Smart Slider 3 just as I would like it to be in the jumbotron section header, but the only way I found for inserting it in the header was a slider above the logo, menu and background image (that I keep until I resolve this issue), and that does not look great, and it also did not have a parallax effect that stayed below with the background image.
Thank you in advance for your help.

]]>I wonder if you could help me? I made a Twenty seventeen child theme and I tried to put a slider on the header. I modified the header-image.php file and exchanged the <?php the_custom_header_markup(); ?>
line into <?php echo do_shortcode('[metaslider id="799"]'); ?>
. I then recreated the folders
structure (/wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen_child/template-parts/header) and placed the header-image.php there. The modification worked, BUT now there’s no more header image on the other pages of the site, nor a slideshow (which is understandable going by the theme’s characteristics). What could I do to solve this issue? Any suggestion? The site is drcstudio (Enricolino to view it).
Thanks in advance
Cheers
Enrico
]]>I followed an old thread in this forum to integrate Meta Slider into the header of the Twenty Seventeen theme.
I am running WordPress 4.9.6 with a Twenty Seventeen child theme and the Meta Slider 3.7.2 plugin
I inserted this line at the bottom of the header.php:
<?php
echo do_shortcode(“[metaslider id=144]”);
?>
Unfortunately, this places the Slider not into Twenty Seventeen’s header, but below:

It would be great to hear from you on this,
