Virtue Theme – hentry errors (microformats.org)

I have the free “virtue” theme and have loved using it.Recently I noticed an increasing number of hentry errors in my search console (missing author, missing updated)

I have Yoast and on their site they mention that these errors are related to the theme. I have not had these errors previously but I do need to address these growing number of errors.

Do you know how I can resolve this? Do you know if there are any updates planned to address this?

I have missing author and missing updated errors on all my pages. I thought this was related to the theme but I have been told it is related to SEO. I have the free version of the Yoast since the time I started my blog and have not see these errors previously. Does anyone know how this can be fixed? Thanks so much.

I have missing author and missing updated errors on all my pages. I read that this is related to the theme. I have the free version of the theme. Does anyone know if this will be updated in the virtue theme? Then I dont have to worry about trying to fix it in the child theme. Thanks so much.

Hello,
I would need to fix the errors that appear in Google search console. They only appear for pages, not for posts. Every page of my site has these errors:
Error: Missing required field “entry-title”.
Error: Missing required field “updated”.
Error: Missing required hCard “author”.
I don’t know how to fix them, but they are negatively affecting to my position on the serp.

Hide categories in Virtue Theme

I would like to hide the list of categories from showing up on the front page such as this:

posted in: Breakfast, Grains, No Added Sugar, Nuts, Quick Recipes | 0

There is a little folder icon before “posted in” in the above statement which I cannot copy here. It also ends with the little icon for comments.

I want to be able to use the categories for taxonomy purposes, but do not want to show the list of categories and tags displayed in the excerpt of the post on the front page.

Do I add a code to the simple custom CSS plugin? I had read that adding code directly to the theme would not be good because when the theme gets updated then the code that had been added will get lost.

Hello,
Im using the wrapped image widget option and have noticed that since adding three widget pages to the sidebar around 2 weeks ago, that the 3 pages i have added with the widget are now showing in webmaster tools, Structured Data, hentry author and updated errors. No hatom errors at all though.
