Getting hentry issue in Structured Data Testing Tool. When I checked website pages sometimes hentry displaying and sometimes not displaying in the list. Is there any issue in my website.

These errors are mostly the same mentioning the following on Hentry as well as on Hatom:

Missing: author
Missing: updated

I really am unsure if this is related, but I can not fetch by google anymore and the general information I am getting is that I need to resolve errors. However these are the only “errors” I’ve noticed in the Google Search Console.

There are no links in the URL Removal Tool and the URL Inspection Tool works as well, I also did various tests to see if it works across the whole word with various tools where you can test your website online as well as with my personal VPN and that is working as well.

So I am really not sure to why when I fetch my main domain Google either says “Temporarily unreachable” or “Not available” without any other explenation what so ever.

Does anyone have any insight on this matter, and perhaps a way to resolve those errors mentioned above?

Missing author error by Google

Hello, since I changed my old theme for Hitmag I can’t solve the “Missing: Author” hentry error inside Google Search Console. With my old theme I was using some lines of code inside function.php to fix all hentry errors (missing title,updated,author), but when I used the same code inside Hitmag’s function page, the author’s part doesn’t work. I took a look inside all the files looking for “the_author()” call to manually fix it, but I couldn’t find it. Please, can someone help me finding a working solution to this problem? Thanks

Hi,

I need help to resolve the Hentry and Hatom Error for my Textbook theme. I am seeing following error in Google Structured Data for Post, Category and Page. These are for Hentry as well as Hatom microformats.

Missing: author
Missing: updated

I tried some of the generic solutions by editing single.php and page.php, but nothing helped!

Hi.. Google is highlighting hentry issues in my website. I just saw there is a plugin on wordpress “Hatom/hentry remover” for removing these errors. Is anyone using it? If yes, then kindly tell me about its reliability as on Google I read that it hasnt been tested with new versions of wordpress. I have no coding knowledge so I am afraid to put the codes in functions.php, mentioned by people on google to remove hentry. So if this plugin is safe to use and works well then it can be of great help.

Hello all,
I’ve been using Make for a few years now. Recently I started noticing Structured Data Errors in Google Search Console. Specifically, missing author, updated, and fn (author, and updated more frequently).

I’ve searched high and low trying to find a fix for this. I’ve even searched this forum, and saw that someone posted a similar concern. But there doesn’t appear to have been a response or a resolution to this issue. Can someone please help me?

I have 127 items with errors on my Structural search Console. How long should it take< after installing the plugin, for the errors Missing Author and Missing Updated are gone in Webmaster tools?
