Hi everyone.

The theme I used to create my website has a banner on the top of every page and I can’t figure out how to remove it. I searched already in other forums but the solution where the Theme customise page has a dedicated top bar menu, doesn’t work for me. (i don’t have that kind of option.

I hope you can help me.

Header/hero slider image of my site is not scaling for mobile use

Good day, I am using the Storefront Child theme for my site, it is a multisite (i am not sure if that matters) and I have seem to run into a snag where my hero image on each page is not scaling properly for mobile use – it is cutting off the graphic way too much. Some scaling takes place, but not enough to respectively view the image properly.

I have searched through this forum for a hot minute now and tried the fixes for similar issues, but they do not seem to be applicable to my site. i have tried using the !important css in the additional css menu:

@media only screen and (max-width: 360px) and (min-width: 100px){
.slider-item{
height:auto ! important;
background-size: 100% 100% !important;
}
}
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) and (min-width: 480px)

but this is not working as well. Please let me know what I should be typing out so that I can get this issue resolved. It works when I turn my phone sideways, but my boss wants it to work vertically and I am running out of ideas

Hero banner on Hestia theme

Elespare Hero Banner on mobile screens

I love your theme! It is very nice and clean and I am glad I can build pages with Elementor once again, as well as with Elespare. The only thing is about Elespare Hero Banner on mobile screens.

The trending section of the Elespare Hero Banner element is not responsive on the homepage for mobiles. When seen on mobile, it shrinks all the images and titles to about 20-25% width of the screen, messing it all up, without any chance to read any of the titles in full nor to see the featured images behind.

Can we just turn off the section for mobiles, or do anything else with it?

Hero Banner style 3 button has no link field

When editing the “Hero Banner” element, style 3 has a button, but has no place to give it it a link address. Changing to another style I can set a link address, but this does not persist when I change back to style 3 – the button links to “#”.

Mins Theme Hero Banner video

Hello,

I am not the most advanced WordPress user so thank you for your patience to begin with.

The mobile version of my website does not play the video in the banner as the desktop version does. Instead it defaults to a static photo that I have picked. I understand why the mobile version will not play the video so this is okay. I would like to create a play button icon to overlay the image in maybe say the bottom right corner, on the mobile version that links to the video in a light-box. I have gotten very close with many attempts but unfortunately I am still unsuccessful. Does anyone have some tips for this?

Also, less important, the video on my desktop site shows black bars on the side, depending on the screen size I am viewing the page on. I understand this has to do with the aspect ratio and size of the video. Ideally, I would like to align the video to the left (currently its in the center) and have a color gradient overlay that becomes solid on the right side with my text overlaid on top. This will eliminate the ugly black bars and even create a more pleasant background for the text to appear on. Im assuming this can be done using just css. Any information on this would also be greatly appreciated.

Gap under hero banner in Chrome and IE

There is a gap under the hero banner on Chrome and IE but seems to work fine on Firefox. I have added a large image now in attempt to resolve but it is not working.

Assigning Links to Hero Buttons on Static Homepage

I would like to edit the Hero Buttons on the Hero Banner page. There are two of them. By default, one says “Read More” and the other says “Join Now.” I would like to place a link into each of the buttons but I do not know code and am not a coder. Please help.

On a side note, what size should the Hero Banner Background Image be in order to fit on the front page? Each time I refresh the page, the picture seems to stretch.
