He has 150 PDF files that are hidden on one page and only available for members that created an account, right now to get access to the PDF files you have to create an account and then he has to approve them before they get access.
The problem is he does not have the time to daily approve accounts and would like them to instantly get access to the files just by entering their email/password. For him its okay if they just create an account and he can see what email that wanted access to the PDF files.
Is this possible do you think?
Sincerely Robin
]]>I am a newbie using WP 5.1 w/ the Twenty Nineteen theme.
After trying out other alternatives, to simplify the looks of my Blog, I set up a Primary Menu with 3 Menu Items: a static page titled “Welcome!” and 2 Custom Links.
I did NOT create a Page for the Posts. However, when a viewer enters the Blog’s URL (www.blog.acrylicmath.com) in the browser, the Posts are automatically displayed. Is there a “hidden” Page?
Furthermore, if the viewer visits the “Welcome!” Page, how does the viewer get back to the Posts’ Page without using the browser’s back button? Within the Blog, what does the viewer click on?
Thank you!

]]>Now there are options to make a page or post private in wordpress. But that means that nobody can access it.
So my questions:
1) Is there a way to make a page/post hidden from any searches, sitemaps, category pages etc. but still accessible with the direct link
2) Is there a way to create random/unique permalinks for these pages/posts? For example www.mywebsite.com/client1-3xyvYlTg. Or even www.mywebsite.com/3xyvYlTg might work
The user needs to complete the form in order to get access to the full area report. Once the user has completed the form, we send the user an email with the link to the full area report.
We have a Melbourne Area Report. If we search for example, the keyword, Melbourne, on the search option of our website, both links are available (data capture gateway link and full area report link.
The same happens when we do a search on Google.
The user mustn’t get access to full area report in any other way apart from filing out our data capture form.
Please advise how we fix this issue.
]]>We have noticed that if we search for example, the first word of a confidential page’s title using the search option on our website, the link is visible on the search results.
The user mustn’t get access to any hidden pages at all under the Confidential section. We (admin) should only have access.
We still need to be able to edit the pages and send the links to the user if required.
We were advised that the way to sort out this issue is to set status as “Password Protected” then the page will not display when user search as “confidential”.
We believe there must be other ways apart from “password protected”.
Please advise.
]]>After I put everything back to normal, I came to discover that I had lost a crucial page – the blog which features the website’s news and updates.
When I click on my social media links directing me to the page’s posts however, they’re still visible online. My question is, how can I find the hidden blog page and its posts? I have no idea where to look and have been trying to find out where the relevant buttons are on my dashboard.
Thanks in advance!
]]>I just installed Optin Cat to integrate MailChimp to grow my subscriber list.
How do I add a “Thank You” Page that doesn’t show up on the ordered Page menu? I tried “0,” and obviously, that didn’t work.
Sincere thank you for what I imagine is the simple answer!
]]>I’ve searched for it and found several links, but none are good for a solution.
I would like to have a page that does not show up in the main menu (not a blog post, but a page). It cannot show up as a child, but actually a hidden page that only shows up when someone has the link (clicked on at another site).
Any ideas or current plug ins?
