Maybe I just don’t know the right question to search for. The services I sell do not benefit from an image. I’ve found snippets to remove the image block from individual products and in the shopping cart, but not from my Shop page where I display my products in category blocks. I would like to remove the placeholder (if that’s what it’s called – a sketch of a mountain and a sun or moon) and have no image, just text, the price, and an “add to cart” button.

Hide first image from product gallery on product page

Hi guys,

I have a question about my product images. I’m using a plugin that flips the image on hover on the shop page. The image you see on hover is the first image in my product gallery. However, on the product page I’d like to show another photo; the second image in my product gallery. So how do I hide the first image from the gallery, so that only the second image appears on the product page and both thumbnails disappear?

Hide header image not working?

I’m migrating from a wordpress.com site, where I’ve used the Lovecraft theme for years, to a self-hosted www.ads-software.com site, but I’m having trouble getting the theme to behave the way I want it to. I’d like to suppress the header image entirely — see https://web.archive.org/web/20201022005414/https://superverbose.wordpress.com/ for reference.

However, even when I choose “hide image” in the Header Image section of customization, those mountains do not want to be moved. The “Current Header” part of that section says “No image set”, but I’m still seeing mountains.

Can somebody help me understand how to suppress the header image entirely?

I have a question/request: is it possible to hide the slider when it has only one image?
I think it will look better and more usable.

Got a new theme I really like (bulk-shop of course!) But there is a huge image at the top of the page with the title on it. How do I hide this? I’ve tried a ton of different CSS code and plugins to hide titles but nothing has worked. What shall I do?

Hi,

I have installed the Food Menu plugin and used the following generated short code :

[foodmenu col=”2″ orderby=”menu_order” order=”ASC” hide-img=”true” disable-link=”true”]

The image is still displayed and both the image and Menu item title links are both working to bring up and expanded view of the item.

Can you confirm that hide-img and disable-link are supposed to work in the free version of the plugin or do I have to upgrade to the PRO version for this to work?
