Disable header images on non-homepage pages

Is there a way to disable header images on all pages of the site barring the homepage? I see the ‘use featured image’ setting under Header Options, but that’s not quite what I need. I like the simplicity of having just the navigation menu and logo at the top of internal pages without a header image at all.

title spacing off on landing page

Left a great review and love how this plugin works. Lets me include thumbnails with my post notification plugin w/o messing up my posts with an unnecessary featured image. Only one curious problem I just discovered …

On my landing page the post title gets shifted to the top of the content area after this plugin removes the featured image. All other posts/pages look fine. You can see what I’m describing at: www.sky-lights.org

I could probably correct this with CSS but hope there’s an easier route. Thanks!

Header only on Home Page

Hi. I want to show a banner only on the home page above the top nav menu.

If I enter the code in the Header Footer tab > “Head section injection” > “Only home page” field, the header doesn’t show on my site at all. But if I enter the same code in the “Every page” field, the header shows but on every page, including the Home page.

Box does not appear on Home page

I’m trying to set my pop-up box to appear on the home page only. This function does not work. The only category that works is “show on all pages.” To do this, in my opinion, is overbearing. I just want the pop-up to appear on my home page. How can I do this?

Slider only on Home page of Travelify template

I got the slider in as a header using Easing Slider but now I only want in on my home page. I’ve tried this in a custom CSS but it does not work (I also put it in the header.php – which also did not work:

I explored issues with settings on permalinks and .htaccess so far. I’m totally frustrated and on my 5th day of “trying stuff” to totally re-install the entire site and database (to fix from a pharma hack.)

Getting Meteor Slide to appear only on Home Page

Hey Josh!

I found some posts you had done to get the slide show to appear ONLY on the home page of my Twenty Eleven Child Theme, but the code doesn’t want to work on mine. This was the one I found to reference:

Footer only on the homepage

Hi,

So I have been using the Adaptive Flat theme for a website of mine, and I noticed that the footer is only shown on the homepage. I have looked through all the code and I can’t find where to change it. What am I missing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

moved site, matched permalinks, only wp-admin and home accessible. 404 on rest.

We just moved our site to a new server. Went smoothly. WP-admin works fine, all items match old location. Home page loads: fabritrak.net, but inside pages not accessible. 404 error.
1. tried to delete .htaccess file and regenerate through settings > permalinks. Didn’t help.
2. verified permalinks structure matched my old location/database.
/%category%/%postname%/ still doesn’t work:
https://fabritrak.net/contact-fabritrak/
3. Confirmed URL paths in database match old in wp-options > browse site URL: line 1 and home line 37.
4. editing pages and attempting to preview – 404.
5. creating new page or post and previewing before permalink is invoked: https://fabritrak.net/?p=2640&preview=true works.

Definitely seems to be a permalinks issue?
