Blank space/layout change

Changing Homepage Layout

I am the owner of the website and I had someone install Magnitude on the website but he is no longer reachable for questions. I don’t have documentation for Magnitude. I can account for the various sections on the homepage except for one which is fixed. I cannot figure out how to change the article with another. As far as I can determine, the site was created with Magnitude and not Magnitude Pro. I was thinking about upgrading to Magnitude Pro, but I don’t know if there is a reason to do so. Is there documentation that I can read which indicates the options?

Re-Use Homepage layout for every inner page

Hello,

I love the way the home is designed. I want to use that exact same layout for secondary pages within my site. I tried uploading the page.php to FTP in hopes of jut being able to customize that way, but it didn’t work. When I add a new page, how can I make those pages look exactly like my home page with just a different slider image?

Hi there,

I’ve built a beta site for my website so I can monkey around with the theme and figure out what I want my real site to look like – so the content might look a little wonky.

Essentially, I’m interested in changing the layout of the blog snippets on the home page.

Here’s my site:

And here’s what I want the snippets to look like, below where it says “latest from the blog”:

Mostly, I want the snippets to be landscape rather than portrait – the copy beside rather than underneath.

My homepage is “front page displays – latest posts” rather than “static page” and I don’t have the premium edition. I have downloaded PageBuilder, but new stuff often drives me to eat a lot of ice cream and whimper.

And, for bonus points – am I limited to three items across in the slider? I only want one row, but if I could cram 4 or 5 pics in there, I’d be happy. Or, speed up the slider?

Any hints? Go easy on me – I can poke around a bit, tweak code here and there, and I know that I’ve skipped some basics (child theme) but I promise I’ll behave myself on my real site.

Virtue Homepage layout

Hello,

I’m using Kadence Virtue to create an ecomm site.

Although I want my blog posts to show on the homepage, I don’t want them to take up so much space. Can you tell me how to reduce the size of the ‘Latest Posts’ section and to put some more content above them, as they appear just below the main slider, where the theme should allow more content in between?

I have adjusted the order of Portfolio carousel and latest blog posts under the theme option, moving the porfolio carousel down below the latest blog posts, but there is nothing changed on the website, the portfolio carousel is always on the top. How can I move it down?

Virtue theme in the theme options, give the option to set layout for the homepage and a different layout for the other pages in the website, but when i set a layout for the homepage this layout is applied to the whole pages in the webpage while in the theme options was setup that the ohter pages they should have a different layout.

what can i do to fix issue?

Looking to generate the homepage layout on different pages of my site. Live in an unusual area with a LOT of suburban markets, all of which we serve and would like to basically duplicate my site with unique content targeted at each of the markets.

I have two sites that I am trying to do this with. First one is www.asjconstruction.com and the other is www.asjrestoration.com. I would like to duplicate the look of the home page for multiple cities by creating a page in the site that would look like this:

https://www.asjrestoration.com/hanover-pa

Then create child pages accordingly (i.e. https://www.asjrestoration.com/hanover-pa/water-damage-restoration)

Any ideas on recreating the homepage to pull this off?

Using Masonry in WordPress

Hi!
I am developing the theme for my wordpress site using Reverie Theme Framework. I created my own child theme. I am in need of help. What I want to do is to create a masonry layout on my homepage showing unlimited number of posts in an order of latest first and older ones in last. Will somebody help or guide me how to accomplish this task. To get its live example, see Makeuseof Website. The way they have organized their layout on their index/homepage is the thing that I want to apply to my own website and for this purpose I want to use Masonry because I think it is the best way to accomplish this task. If you think that some other better method exist, please tell me about it also. I have tried all tutorials on the web but, couldn’t get any result.
I also want to make Orbit Slider which will be displayed on top of my posts on homepage only. The slider will show featured posts only. I want it to be like the one displayed on this website OMG!Ubuntu.
Moreover, I’m a high school student learning web designing. I have a very very little programming experience. So, please teach and help me in a way a student is taught. In this way, I can make my website more nice!

Homepage not rendering correctly

The problem I am having is that my homepage isn’t displaying the layout correctly. It is showing as a list of content and the images behind them. Other pages (such as www.unitychristchurch.org/new-visitors/ are working fine).

It appears to be only the homepage and I have no clue what is causing this.

Any help would be appreciated.
