Can I change the order of posts on my homepage?

I’m in the process of setting up my freelance writing blog and I have all my recent posts on the homepage. But is there a way to change the order they’re in on the homepage? I know it says recent posts first, but is there a way to move an older post toward the top of the homepage if I want to do that?

Twice posts in homepage

Congratulations for the excellent theme, I’m using the free version.
But something is not working as it should.

In fact in homepage my articles appear twice. I have successfully set up the widgets provided by the theme on the homepage, for example. TG: Featured posts, etc.

So I had to find an alternative solution. I hope it is helpful for someone.

I created a page – Home –
On settings I set – Home – as Homepage
On settings I set – posts page – as none
but I do not want the title of homepage appear so I added css code in custom css box of the theme:

# post-70 {
display: none;
}

obviously post-70 refers to my homepage, you must check the code and change it with yours.

I ask you if it is a bug…

I have a website https://thethi-guide.com in two leanguages, english ( primary ) and Albanian.

I have this problem, when i post a new article in the “News” category, the post should appear at the “News Box” on the homepage, and it does, but only for the english version,the albanian version of the post doesnt appear in the albanian version of the homepage, but when i check all the posts of the albanian version of News category, which is LAJME, i have the post there. I have doubled checked that the post was created in the right way for both leanguages.

I use local business.
I configured the theme options(from the dashboard theme options)and the homepage looks OK.
Problem is that I can’t see the homepage content in any of my posts nor in any of my pages(In Settings: Reading–>Front Page Displays–>Your latest posts).
Can someone explain that please?

How can I properly display posts on homepage

I’m having trouble displaying posts from a single category on the homepage the way I want them to appear. The theme I’m using uses a 3 column layout for the homepage and a content-sidebar layout for the blog page.

Basically I want the homepage ( https://music1.netlabs.co.za/ ) to display exactly like the blog page ( https://music1.netlabs.co.za/?cat=7 ), but include the slider. So what I did was just copy the code from category.php and pasted it into a new custom page template titled hompage.php and set that as my homepage.

But for some reason its not displaying any posts and I have no idea why.

Selecting how many and which posts display on Homepage

The updated PinPress theme has infinite scroll on homepage, and I would like to have control over which and how many posts display on my homepage. Is there any way to manage posts and disable the infinite scroll?

Hi guys,

I have a theme affiliate from readythemes… The thing is under my theme options it has the option to show posts on homepage… okay that is turned on.

Then it says select the category for posts on the homepage… what if i want all new posts to show up on the homepage? So i need to find out how can i get all new posts to show up no matter the category… Also or even if there is a plugin that allows me to select that post to show on the homepage.

Duplicate posts being displayed.

On my homepage, I have set my posts to display using the magazine format.

Trouble is, the first three posts I made are always displayed at the top of the screen, duplicating the ones underneath.

Unwanted space after homepage featured image and post footer

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get rid of the unwanted space between the featured image and post footer on the homepage. Currently there is a large gap between the featured image and ‘tags:’. This is the same for every post on the homepage.

The current theme I am using is iFeature Pro.

Also if anyone could tell me how to get a post title background on the homepage it would be much appreciated
