Your readme.txt is quite blunt, but it is also a breath of fresh air, since many promise tons of this or that and is pure propaganda.
Thank You.
]]>When I’ve installed the plugin and activated the image hotlink feature I can’t see my category images anymore.
Things I did to try to resolve the issue :
– Disable all plugins except woocommerce.
– Uses the plugin reset feature
Any idea how I can resolve this issue ?
Thanks in advance
]]>My product images don’t show on all my categories. If I click on the product itself everything works fine.
I’m thinking it has to do with hot linking but I’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find an issue.
Thanks in advance !
]]>With Hotlinking protection on, how can one singularly allow a number of websites to hotlink?
Thanks
M
I got a problem which leads me to a feature request; my page is on bananas.com (example) with a wordpress install. On the webspace I got there is /httpdocs which contains /bananas and /project1 /project2 etc.. /project1 and 2 contain e.g. a simple HTML page. Now the hotlink prevention setting on the bananas.com wordpress installation forbids access to a background.jpg on project2.com – background-image: url(‘stuff/background.jpg’); is broken where <img src=”stuff/m_logo.svg” … still works, since it’s a SVG. If I disable the hotlink prevention in the plugin settings on bananas.com wordpress backend the other page works as it should.
So could you add a hotlink prevention domain exceptions feature or tell me what to change in .htaccess so project2.com does not get blocked from bananas.com?
Thankyous!
]]>I do not use Jetpack (never had earlier either) yet, all images from my site are cached on your server.
1. Why are my images being cached on your servers?
2. Why is it so easy for anyone to simply add your link (i0.wp.com) in front of image link to easily bypass any hotlink protection.
3. Why is your system caching images from all types of sites and not just ones who are using Jetpack
4. Anybody is free to access image through your wp.com servers by only knowing the image url.
5. My copyrighted images like many others are freely being accessed/stolen by anyone through your servers and there is nothing I as the copyright owner can do about it.
Please advise what you can do about this as it is severely affecting my site results.
]]>Several days ago I realized that some images in my blog are missing. They are replaced with an image with the text “Stop. This image was hotlinked!”.
Mi Plesk panel is supossed to implement security against this issues, and I also added some directives in htaccess in order to fix this problem, but I keep watching these weird images, even when I’ve tried to delete my old images and upload them again.
I understand that this is caused by some other website which is stealing my images, but what is the purpose of informing me by deleting my own images? I don’t get it.
Help, please.
And thanks in advance.
