iDeal, for me the most important component of the plugin, does not work. It sends API requests to Stripe by the dozen per hour, but not when my customers need one. And if it does, it changes so fast the order bounces as failed in my system. On the other side it does not trigger email notifications for me as website owner, so how can I trust it sends email to customers? I lost a lot of money using this plugin, but since there is no better option for me, I had to switch off iDeal in the hope they fix it, I send numerous error logs, but so far they cannot solve it. I get different error messages every time, Some are mentioned here as wel, and if I do get any at all!! Because sometimes I do not even get one, and most payments don’t even make it to the Stripe Dashboard.

It is like Russian Roulette, sometimes it works, most times it does not. Other payments options seem work good, only iDeal does not work. Most of my cleintes pay per iDeal so I am in trouble.

When I try the Stripe checkout it does not even show on the checkout page, so something is wrong when it comes to iDeal on every action of this plugin.

I have tried their other plugin, and tried iDeal through Paypal and it is the same story, the payment for iDeal does not show for customers, and those instructions don’t even resemble by far how the dashboard looks, and fields for webhooks and buttons are missing, and again iDeal is not working.

I use Classispress and Classis Woocommerce. But that should not matter since they claim compatibility. It is pure a problem in de plugin with the Api requests.

I’ve been using Tickera for 7 years, it’s easy to set up and can be extended as you wish with many addons but also kept small and simple if that’s what you prefer/need. For us the main attraction was we can do without Woocommerce and the likes (way over the top for what we need) BUT (great plus) it offers a Mollie addon – a cheap way of allowing orders to be paid through Ideal (the main system in use in our country). For small-scale events this is a great plus. Moreover, there are translations available (absolutely necessary for our audience).

And the Tickera support team is excellent – rapid response, very helpful.

Paypal / Ideal issue

A customer paid with IDEAL using Paypal. The amount is debited to the customer, but I do not receive an order. I have tested it: When I make a payment, the screen remains continuously visible as if the payment cannot be completed. The screen should show my website again. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

I am using the stripe plug in with woo commerce. When trying to pay with iDeal I get an error “Your payment information is incomplete”. In a test environment there is no problem and the payment works, in a live environment I get an error whenever trying to pay with iDeal.

How can I solve this? The plug-ins are updated, everything is set-up the way the guide suggests, etc.

I have seen other people also raising this issue. Is there some known fix?

There is a problem in v 7.70 concerning Ideal 2.0 (july 2024) If you have upgraded from an older version you can not clear the options for: SHOW LIST OF BANKS. The list still keeps showing but it is empty. You can not place an order.

The folloging link explains it all what you have to do to fix it(downgrade 7.5.3, clear options, upgrade) , but please just fix it in 7.7.x+1 Make it so that the old settings are automatically removed/ignored when upgrading.

Unable to use iDeal

Hi,

When trying to pay using iDeal at checkout, I get an error at the top:

There was an error processing your order. Please check for any charges in your payment method and review your before placing the order again.

The order still gets created in the backend with the status “pending payment” but the customer is not taken to the bank selection/payment Mollie page.

I have tried from a phone as well with same results.

The plugin is up to date.

Selecting iDeal in 3 works as it should and gets redirected to the Mollie page but not when selecting iDeal.

Any idea on what is happening?

Hello,

Before you could always select the bank that was yours at the checkout page like: ING, Rabobank, ABN Amro etc. and then continue to pay but now it only shows the text ‘selecteer je bank’ but no more dropdown with all the banks. How do I get this back? This is on all the websites we manage, I think maybe after the WooCommerce 9.0 update, but I’m not sure.

PDF not being attached in mail with certain payment methods (mollie)

We stumbled across an issue with the plugin. Whenever customers select Mollie -> Banktransfer then they don’t get an PDF attached in the mail. Other methods, like iDeal do work.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?
