Hi,
I have requrest from client to fix site to work on IE9 and then tweets are not showed in iframe but as link to twitter page. Why? IE9 support iframe tag. Is that because of style?

the plugin throws an error on IE9 with the result that no JS is rendered.

In /assets/js/wsp-main-script.js change line 19 to:

I just tried to test Elementor with Internet Explorer 9, and there seem to be quite huge compatibility issues : the columns don’t fit, the overall web design is broken, etc…

If you have IE9, just try to go on Elementor homepage (https://elementor.com), the result is quite funny!

Is this a known non compatibility issue?

Some of my content is not loading on ie9.

It’s weird as well because there is not a 404 or indication that the images are broken in developer tools. The images just don’t load.

W3 Total Cache and IE9 not rendering

Hi,

If i empty all caches from within wordpress admin or delete a created page cache item from the server manually then as the new pages get added back to the cache they do not render correctly in IE9. Ive narrowed this problem down to something very odd. If the page cache item is created by an IE9 browser (e.g. an ie9 browser is the first browser to visit that page after the cache was cleared) it creates the page in the cache and all renders well, but if the page in the cache was created by another browser, for example chrome it looks good in chrome but IE9 layout doesn’t render correctly.

Anyone have any ideas?

Internet Explorer 9 can’t handle more than 4,095 selectors in a single css file (msdn docs https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/ieinternals/2011/05/14/stylesheet-limits-in-internet-explorer/), this is easy to run into when W3TC combine css in a single ifle (minify css option enabled).

It is possible implement in the future version a setting for combine css in one file or more file?

Button disappears on hover in IE9

Thanks for a great plugin, it works incredibly well on compliant browsers but…

On my site (prescriber.org.uk) the button appears at the bottom right in all browsers I’ve tested (FF, Chrome, IE8, IE9). But in IE9 and only IE9 the button disappears from view when you hover over it. It reappears again at the greater opacity if clicked.

Bizarrely it works fine in IE9 in IE7 or IE8 compatibility mode so this is clearly some browser weirdness going on. I’ve tried to figure this out but the diagnostic tools in IE are next new to me and not very helpful as yet.

Any ideas what it might be?

media upload error

Hi guys I am having an issue with uploading media while editing/adding posts/pages. This occurs in ie8 and ie9 and only in the post page media lightbox (not on the actual media library page). The media is added to the library but an error pops up and you have to reload the page to see the image in the lightbox.

I tried disabling plugins, didn’t help.
However when I switched themes I didnt have that issue. I tried removing functions and code from functions.php in my theme to see if that would remedy this issue but it didn’t work either.

Anyone know what other files in my theme might be causing this issue?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Linking to internal file using IE9

We are creating a word press site to use as our Intranet site. I am new to WordPress but finding these forums very helpful. However I am stuck. I’m trying to create a link to an internal file for an internal program we have. The file installs the program on your computer. IT uses these links to easily install programs on computers. I can get the folder to open up in Chrome. Can’t get file to open but at least can get to folder. However in IE9 I can’t get to anything.

I’ve searched multiple topics close to this and tried their fixes but still not working.

I am using this link as per other help topics said to use but its not opening. file://///I:/Folder/file.application

I’ve also tried with 3and 5 /’s. In Chrome I can get file://///I:Folder/ to open the folder where I can then click on the file itself.
Can someone help me understand how to get this to work in IE9?
