SCENARIO:
Using the Divi Theme Builder Templates allows me to create a unique output of Pages/Posts/Archives, et al. While this works with the default WordPress Pages/Posts, Taxonomies and the like, it does not work with this plugin. What happens? A couple of things right off the bat:
a) The output of content is duplicated: the first output at the top of the page is the plugin’s default (I had to use CSS to hide it—this shouldn’t happen!). Below that is the output of MY layout which posts what the plugin outputs but is formatted accordingly to my Divi Theme Builder template that is assigned to ALL PAGES (again, I cannot create a UNIQUE template and assign it to any of the plugin’s output pages), which is what I don’t want.
b) On all of the IDX Pages, the main menu/logo is missing. Again, I’m using Divi’s Theme Builder Template (which allows me to create unique headers). While it works on ALL OTHER WORDPRESS DEFAULT PAGES, it DOES NOT work with IDX Pages. This is not user-friendly. The user needs the ability to access the main menu!
All IDX Pages created with this plugin have a body class of “page-id-0”. They do not have a unique Page/Post Title that I can use to assign the Divi Theme Builder templates to. I cannot use Page/Post IDs, unique identifiers, etc. ONLY Page/Post Titles, Categories, Archives, Taxonomies, Tags, and other elements.
The only alternative that I can think of (and have yet to try) is to create a custom WordPress template and assign it to the unique class of “page-id-0”. However, I shouldn’t have to do this if the plugin recognized my templates.
I would appreciate some assistance if anyone has experienced something similar, or it would be helpful if the developers behind the plugin would reply.
Thank you for your time.

The support is absolutely the worst of any plugin I have ever used. They don’t get back to you and don’t listen to common sense recommendations.

Conclusion: based on this comparison this IDX plugin provides the least value for consumers in terms of data available per listing
Any plans to increase the number of MLS fields in the near future?
could someone from the company explain?
We owe it to consumers
]]>I am using your plugin for ihomefinder integrations and moving my site from other platform to WordPress. I have created a all the pages etc, but having issue with display my properties.
Please check my old site: https://www.sarasotapropertyfinders.com/lido-key-condos.php
I want to display same listing over here: https://spf.sitestagingarea.com/lido-key-condos/
So How can I display price filter and also display only Lido Key Condos For Sale types Condominiums properties only. is there any shortcode for this? also price filter is require things. can you please help to achieve this.
Thanks.
]]>If so, how did you get the slide show arrow links to work?
I did get a work around from iHomeFinder.com to get the property photo gallery arrow links to work by adding some Javascript and CSS code, however that fix uses a different version of bootstrap that now makes the Customizr slide show arrow links to not work.
]]>—
If you need what is presented by this plugin out of the box, then this plugin is a good choice. It works well and isn’t difficult to set up.
But a lot of the interface is ugly. Some design choices are really silly, like putting the next/previous arrows ABOVE the gallery slider. The CSS is also pretty bad. They style everything their own way. Links are blue, overruling your theme with their ID tags. Many elements have really obscure padding and margin values that are not consistent cross-browser.
And if you want to create your own widget to show say, 4 featured properties, you can’t just use a PHP call like “get_featured_properties(4)” and build it yourself. The HTML is generated on their servers and sent to your website. This means you cannot use a custom template unless you scrape data from their HTML. They do offer a shortcode but you’re stuck with their default layout – which is also silly. Address, then photo, then price, then details. Not configurable at all.
You can use JavaScript to adjust layout clientside, but this gives a flash of their ugly default layout. You can mitigate this by hiding it until JS has loaded of course. You can also adjust layouts serverside with a DOM parser – but if you don’t cache this, you’re going to murder your server.
Overall, I might still consider this plugin in the future for basic IDX-based sites. I’m very disappointed that there is no API in the plugin. That’s kind of the point of WordPress, customizing everything…
