Post editor inserts paragraph tag

I am using IImage Gallery 1.9 to post photo galleries into WordPress 2.1. It works just fine except that the post editor inserts

tags before each anchor when it creates the thumbnails. It seems the editor is set up to do that when there is a break in the text, however this messes up the presentation of thumbnails and since the

tags are inserted unclosed it invalidates the code.
I am sure WordPress is causing this and not IImage Gallery, since it’s only happened since I upgraded. This happens in the visual and the code editor modes.
How can I stop the editor from inserting

Wrap Text around Image

I’m using IImage plugin to upload pictures onto my post but I simply do not know how to wrap the text around the image, resulting in very long, weird looing posts. I did a search on the support and found this that sort of explains how we can do a hack on IImage Browser. I’m a complete rookie and I don’t understand where to get the stylesheet to change?

Or does anyone know how to do a text wrap around an image?

I’d appreciate help of any kind! Many thanks!

IImage Gallery not working with WP 2.1

Just noticed that if one tries to create a gallery using IImage Gallery (https://fredfred.net/skriker/) after upgrading to WP2.1 no gallery shows up…

this I found is because WP2.1 is using single quotes (‘) instead of double quotes (“) around the image tags…

does anyone know if IImage Gallery will be updated for WP2.1…

Problem with IImage Gallery 1.9

I installed IImage Gallery 1.9 recently. It was working fine at first, but now I am having trouble. When I create a post that contains the IImage Gallery script, the post.php page doesn’t reload, though the post is created with the thumbnails. Post.php remains blank, no error messages.

When I edit a post with IImage Gallery script, it does not save the changes and post.php does not reload. Again, a blank browser window with no error messages.

I’m using WordPress 2.0.5. I initially installed IImage Gallery with 2.0.3 and had it working with the 2.0.5 upgrade.

Can anyone shed some light on this matter? Thanks.

User Level Problems Despite RoleManager plugin

Hola all,

I’m having a persistent problem with the users in my site not able to have access to a certain image management plugin (IImage Browser), because WordPress keeps telling them they’re not high enough in User Level.

The thing is that I installed the RoleManager plugin to fix this issue.. and I made sure to upgrade all my ‘Authors’ to a level which would allow them access to the IImage Browser plugin.

Even though I tested the configuration with a dummy account which I bumped up to Author level, and everything seemed to be working fine with this dummy account being able to access IImage Browser, I have an ‘Author’ who’s still getting the User Level problem; Iimage Browser refuses to open up for him because he’s not ‘high’ enough.

So what could be going on? He uses Firefox as a web browser on a Windows machine. He can’t open Iimage Browser, and he can’t also post embedded YouTube code.. or do anything to his posts even though I bumped him up to the appropriate level.

Anyone have any ideas what could be going on?

Adding ‘rel’ attribute to <a> tag in iimage editor

Hello everyone! I just wanted to add the rel=’lightbox’ in every thumbnail that is generated from the iimage editor, so i can use the lightbox image viewer in my blog. I edited the iimage-browser.php adding the rel=’lightbox’ in the appropriate values, but when i click ‘insert into post’ button this attribute is lost! Additionaly if i edit the html of the post and put it manually from there, it is not appearing as well! I figured that WordPress has a sort of validation system that removes every other attribute from the ‘a’ tag and leaves only the ‘href’ and ‘title’ …How can i edit this thing in order to accept the rel attribute?

Hello, I just installed the image browser plugin

now when I go to the write page and press the image browser button I get the following message:

IImage Browser suddenly taking FOREVER to load.

FYI: Using WP 1.5.2 (site owner does not want to upgrade yet *argh*) and IImage Browser 1.5.

After recently moving the site to Dreamhost, IImage Browser is suddenly taking a minute and a half and up to TWO minutes sometimes to render the first page of thumbnails.

I’ve dropped the number of thumbnails per page from 30 to 10 and it hasn’t helped. I’m stumped here…and the site owner is getting antsy and considering moving to ANOTHER host.

I’ve been trying like crazy to place an image gallery in my WP blog at calmphotos.com.

The guy who sold me WordPress, and provides the hosting on the site, has not been much help at all.

I’ve downloaded, FTP’d and activated simpleviewer, lazy gallery, stick images and most recently, iimage gallery.

I activate the plug-ins, but I don’t know where to go from there.

Is there something missing? Am I not doing something right?
